Of course, install the game and check the lobby if you want to know the number of real players. I doubt they'll be more than 1% of that number.

There was over 34k people playing earlier and over 18k players right now playing, so it's a good sign that it did indeed get people into the game. If they can keep a few thousand continually playing then it will be great. After today when it goes back to purchase the price drop to $10 should help bring in even more people. It's much more affordable than before.
