Why don't you go to www.anime-planet.com and make an account and keep track of what you watched and want to watch?
I use that site alot and it also has the general dates of when the anime was released, like may 2012 ( random ). Good way to keep track on where to start.
Keep track of every anime youre on and on what episode. Also lists the public opinion of that anime.
I'm not sure if im allowed to praise like this by rules of the faq, so I'm sorry if im not and I'll delete it if i have to.

It doesn't really matter. There is no continuity between the movies and the series. But you can watch the first movie or its remastered edition, then the follow-up to the movie and then the series.
Or you can go watch the series and then the movies :D.

I agree with this advice. I think I watched Innocence before watching the SAC and hated it. Then I watched Innocence after watching SAC 1 and loved it. Either way, awesome stuff and this coming from a guy that hates most anime.

Start with Ghost in the Shell. That seems kinda obvious. :P It's the OVA origin of the whole thing. Everything else, animewise, came later. To keep order beyond that is a bit spotty. You can watch in order of releases (GITS, SAC, GITS2, SAC 2nd, Arise), or just stick to the general continuity. I'd do the latter, so I'd probably then watch Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, then watch Stand Alone Complex and SAC 2nd Gig after that. SAC is kinda a whole separate thing from the two OVAs. I can't say anything about GITS Arise from 2013, as I haven't see those.
Also, because Masamune Shirow is awesome, you should totally watch Appleseed (OVA first, then the 2004 with the same title, then Ex Machina from 2007), Dominion Tank Police and New Dominion Tank Police too. His works are all over the place, and quite fun. I highly recommend you look at some of his original artwork though, even if you don't go read the mangas. His art is far better, generally, than the stuff in the actual anime series. I love his art style.

So, as some of you may remember, I asked here in the forum a few months ago what anime should I watch next(you can see the topic here). I actually made a list(an imaginary list all in my head) and the next topic in my list is Ghost in the Shell. However when I was about to start I notice there is movies and a series. And I don't know where to start.
Could someone tell what better order should I take? Also I'm not interested in reading the manga. Reading books in the pc is uncomfortable for me and I don't have any other device where I can read it(no iOS or Android)(also I don't find physical copies of it).
