Quick question about booster packs

I think most people realized that you should only craft badges during events.

I got a lot of boosters last event, now every month during the off season.

What is a booster pack?

I still get a booster pack every month or so. my most recent one was just 4 days ago

I was getting them constantly when they first came out - 2 -3 week. I think I've gotten about 3 in the past 4 months?

I'm level 41, I've not got many booster packs since they started (3-4)

I've been in a drought too. I think it has something to do with seasonal sales and stuff; booster packs are pretty common during winter/summer sales, and big events, but seem to slow over the interim. I haven't gotten many packs lately, but I still get one once in a while. A lot of it depends on the popularity of the games; booster packs are awarded when someone crafts a badge for a game, so if a game is out for a long time and people already have the cards and aren't crafting it slows the economy a bit.

I got one today, the one before that, uhm...maybe slightly over a month ago.
