Nah, it's only Crazy Machines that gets flooded here (rather than something like King's Bounty) because it's not on the bundle list.

You don't need SG+

Check here: http://www.steamgifts.com/filter

SG+ is still more useful than that. For example, it will filter out DLC for games you don't own, and you can selectively add games to the filter that you don't own but also don't want to enter giveaways for.

Well, that's gonna be on a daily basis now that they started Weekly Sales...

I gotta admit though, they're getting a lot more sales purely because of S Gifters.

I think you mean weekly?

Comment has been collapsed.

Not really. All previous week, every day, there's been a lot of Darksiders and Red Faction giveaways. As long as the sale lasts there will be giveaways with those games. And a lot of them at that.

There are still a lot of Darksiders and Red Faction giveaways. Site says that there are currently 84 open Darksiders giveaways. Red Faction Armageddon, Red Orchestra, and Red Orchestra 2 are currently all in the 60s. (Red Faction DLC is in the 40s.)

The "Giveaways this week" graph says 650 Contributors, 596 Public, 244 Group, and 121 Private for the March 27th week, for Darksiders alone.

Well.. killing floor is actually a good game. You definitely don't remember metro 2033 and dota 2 being on the list, the site stopped working sometimes lol

I feel like as long as people are entering in the giveaways, they're at least wanted and thus not a complete nuisance. Some people are abusing them solely for contributor value but the limit on that sort of thing will take effect and serve its purpose if they do. I'm giving away a full bundle public and Killing Floor to my group, and I won't see value for those until my non-bundle giveaways close and probably not even fully until I make a couple more at least. So at least people won't see success with exploiting them unless they put up more legitimate giveaways to balance it out, so to speak.

I fully encourage all to take full advantage of SteamGifts Plus and its features to keep the spam down if you're not interested.

They don't count as bundle games. You will get full contributor value from RO 2 and Killing Floor.

They have asterisks in the list and I've yet to receive the contributor value from them. Maybe the system is exceptionally slow to count them because of the traffic but I'm 99% sure they've already been marked as bundle.

EDIT: Upon double checking, I stand corrected. Red Orchestra is bundle but the others don't appear to be. Apologies.

I was about to buy Red Orchestra to give it away at some other time, when the Humble Bundle dust settles down. Then I realized I would feel cheap for giving only $1 for 2 great full games when they deserve much more than that. For what? So I could increase my CV and enter few extra giveaways? That improves my chances of getting the games I want by a negligible amount. CV lost its meaning with all the bundles popping up every week or two. Giveaways are all about luck anyway, it doesn't matter if the chance is 0.065% or 0.067%. In the end, I'll end up buying most of the games I really want with my own money.

Ever since I saw the effects of the first weekly bundle, I figured the whole idea of humble weekly bundles would really screw up the steamgifts system.

Just filter the damn games you don't want. How difficult can it be?

Damn, bought vanilla Killing Floor for like $4 a few weeks ago and I haven't even installed it yet. Could've gotten the complete edition for like $3.

If I did the Humble Bundle, it would just be to give the games away... which would be fine if giving away bundle games weren't almost frowned upon these days. I wouldn't even be doing it for CV.

I got the bundle for the KF DLC. Will probably end up giving away the RO keys since I already had both games.
