Doesn't matter to me, just letting people know. For someone who is anemic to gray-market sites as a general rule, the fact that I would even consider buying from HRK at this point rather than Groupees says something though.

But even if you were to get games from the hrk lot, which you're not, the $1.50 pre-order would still be cheaper. I think of it as a $1 scratch-off ticket. It's fun to play; I expect to lose; excited when I win $2.00.

The HRK bundle also doesn't involve going in blind and being raped of your money when all you end up with is a pile of shovelware, which is 95%+ of what Groupees tosses out there these days. At least you can choose what you want from a rather sizeable list and know going in what you are getting. Not that HRK can be fully trusted being affiliated with G2A, but only a company as shady as Groupees would continue to perpetuate this inherently dishonest way of doing business, kept afloat by those who lack either the wisdom or self-restraint to stop supporting such a vicious cycle.

You can treat it as a regular non-blind bundle... Just wait for it to actually go live. If you wish to take a bit of a gamble for a discount, however, you can do that. You have options... You can make a decision based on certain clues and knowledge of the tendencies of these bundles.
Not that I love blind bundles. I usually don't preorder build-a-bundles. But Groupees' blind pre-order is less shady than Humble Bundle's monthly blind bundles, since you can't buy those once revealed at all, it's just that HB has better and more consistent quality.

And that's why I'm okay with the Humble Monthly bundles, because quality makes all the difference in the world. You may not necessarily get the genres of games that you want but they will be good quality games. It's the combination of this blind pre-order with the fact that the quality is consistently shit that makes it a very bad recipe, and they know full well what they are doing. A pile of excrement is still just that, regardless of how 'cheap' someone tries to peddle it to you for. I put that in quotes because this will add up during the course of any given month.

I agree with all that. It's just that you're not coerced into preordering, it's just a slight discount, depending on how many games you would have chosen. With build a bundles, I usually skip or only grab a couple of games, the ones I want, which comes to the preorder price or less. Rare that I regret not preordering. Some other different bundles make for better preorders.

I understand that no one is coerced into anything and that ultimately the onus is on the consumer, but to me that doesn't make Groupees any less dishonest for their part. I've been saying something similar about Walmart scalping Nintendo hardware during this holiday season. Never mind that they hadn't even filled their own backorders at the legit prices (MSRP). You just don't do that if you are a retailer and are supposed to be a trustworthy business. It's just another example of a completely dishonest practice.

Was on my wishlist too. I picked it up from HRK build-a-bundle because, even though I don't fully trust them, the price was right. All of the keys worked without any issue arising, and hopefully it stays that way.
