I don't really think the price of the subscription to be worth the stuff they give. That's just me though.

The game review are okay, but usually sound like they are being paid off. The game guides are nice if you are one of the ones that actually use them. I signed up for just the games. I would say I have gotten back well more than my $30 in games, even if I don't ever do the beta codes.

Do they have a new indie game this month?

i rarely go to ign for news but i was considering the service for the free game a month

It's not worth it. They've been through many, fiascoes such as full Battlefield 3 CD-Keys for 1 year signatures leaking to non-members, unlimited trial memberships, flawed payment charges, etc. What they basically offer you is basic cheap indie games that you'd better off purchasing individually during sales and some access to beta games that are not that great. Paying for free games is a backwards way of thinking.

The website in itself is also pretty poor. Game Reviews consist on marketing gimmicks and often don't seem honest, as if they're supposed to appeal to people instead of doing them a favor. The Live coverages they do are mediocre and they're often trying too hard to appeal to their public so they stay there and spend with things such as Prime. Overall, the service is not really worth the trouble you might get into and the company doesn't deserve any of your money whatsoever, in my opinion.

Free game every month and 15% off gamersgate, good enough for me.

id say do it once, and get the gamersgate 15% discount for life, and the free games fr that year.
