Because levels don't matter anymore. The leveling system is obsolete. Besides the fact that everyone seems to be lvl3+ after the clickteam bundle, public GAs are full of bots, idlers and +1ers, even on higher levels.

I wish there was an option to only give away games to a pool of users who would agree to at least try their SG wins. That would make me try public GAs again. It would be a lot more effective than levels, imo.

Because I don't much care if my games go to people who also give away lots of games themselves; I'm not here to reward generosity. I do like to favor people who pay some attention to what they're entering, which is why I do very few public GAs and prefer the forum, the chat and occasionally groups. Other than that, I don't do level restrictions, whitelists or blacklists.

Why use levels? I'm not being selective. Anyone should have the same chance to win. If I wanted to give a game to "specific" people, I would give it to my friends.

Level 6+ takes an effort for me,. I have been level six 7 times and have once again fallen to level 5. But that is fine for I know t is the same process that every one else faces so it is fair. People can get to level 2 (maybe even 3) with bundles and I do not mind them winning my giveaways for at least they try. I live in a hospice and have zero income ( live on donations of games and funds) yet I still am able to crawl my way back up to level 6 for a month or two at a time. Even though I am not able to enter level 6 at present time again the upper levels I like the SG system and am grateful for anything I am able to contribute or win. {I do think it would be nice to be able to reward people who actually play the games they win.]
