Would you prefer a digital or physical copy of a new game?
lol, when it's (ilegally) free people won't give a damn to wait a week of downloading if they want to play a game they really like.
Considering GTAV is one of the biggest franchises and one of (if not) the biggest single selling games of all time on console, pirates won't be deterred at all.

360 was 3 discs, ps3 was 1.. not sure why they wouldn't just put it on a blu ray. I find it hard to believe they will actually release 7 DVD's for it on PC. I have mine pre-ordered on steam and can't wait.

Reminds me of Final Fantasy being on more than one disc due to memory limitations. Seems like this is the issue here as well.

Yeah, and thank Sony that they decided to use double layers CD, Nintendo lost the Final Fantasy franchise due to their stubborness to stick with game cartdriges, FF7 would have taken 12 N64 cartridges if uncompressed.

I go for Physical just because it's one of those games that u will look back at a few years from now & look at with Nostalgia

since i've got sub par internet,
i don't mind a boxed copy of GTA V even if its 7 discs.
AC unity was 5 discs anyway. and extra two wont really bother me

Why there is an issue with a game if it comes with 7 or 10 or 20 disks is beyond me... tip: install, play, forget.
My opinion: you give too much attention to small things.
2nd Opinion: Buy digital.

3rd Opinion: Agreed with other 2 opinions, but take in consideration 2 exceptions:

Agree,ok...to the op,
3rd opinion: Buy Retail, install, put the box/case to your collector showcase, again i dont see the number of disks as a collector problem(bigger box more wow factor), its a pc and not a console release, also no steam if that matters. :)

Exactly, it's not a console! They are just install discs, they are not required to be in the tray to play.
I forgot that you wouldn't get Steam... well, the only upside would be the achievements and (maybe) an easier multiplayer experience with your friends, but you won't get cards so it's not such a bad deal to get it with Rockstar Social Club.

20mbps is the double than me! For me it would take around 3 full days of non stop downloading hahaha

Oh that! Yeah that's a big problem... :/ I guess it somewhat forces you to buy physical if you want to play the new and space consuming games

Well it depends, if it's a game I really love then I get PHYSICIAL, PHYSICAL! If not then I'm more than happy to get a digital copy, also in the case of GTA V or any other 40-65 GB game on PC I would rather have a physicial copy too, saves me the time of downloading (I have one of the fastest speeds in my country, 10mbps, and it would still take me 2-3 days to download).
I would love to have that sexy GTA V box, using the 7 DVDs to install the game and then keep them all safe on my book shelf, if I complete the game or I feel I don't want to keep playing it I could uninstall the 65 GB and keeping the user data, if times comes when I would want to play it again I would undust the case and install that bad boy again in under an hour, contrary to the long days of download I would face.

a GTA V USB Stick with a nice design would be the much better way to sell

So, as you can see in the picture below, the physical GTA V uses 7 DVDs. (According to the owner of the Russian version) To me it's quite absurd and makes me want to change to digital distribution even more. What do you think?
