First impression - generally positive. It looks like a game I might try - I quite like 2d-scrollers, and games that can be dipped into and allow some mindless fun. The gameplay videos are good - they show actual gameplay! However, with no Linux support, or solid reports on ProtonDB that's as far as I personally would look.
Either way, congratulations on the release.

Hello Developer!
I will answer your questions first:
What do you feel is this game about?
A. Not reading the description, it feels like a horde survival game.
What do you like about it?
A. The presentation is comparatively better than other indie games from developers who chug out 20 games a year.
What do you not like about it?
A. Too many games in this genre exist.
Do you feel like you miss information about the game?
A. I am not sure what you are trying to ask... From what I understand, there are too many games coming out to be able to filter out the good and bad games and thereafter follow news about only the good games. Right now, I just rely on the Steam User Reviews / video reviews on YouTube.
It is good to know and see that you are enthusiastic about your product. It's really heartbreaking to read about your sales though given that you have worked hard on your game. I wish to create and release a game one day eventually but seeing all the competition and one's game can go completely unnoticed, it really makes me feel apprehensive. I wish you best of luck man!

Thank you for your feedback.
Yes, there are too many games indeed! Steam is not the best platform to get eyeballs, but at the same time it is important to publish on it at the same time :)
I don't want to destroy anyones indie dream. But what I have learned during the last years, that it is realy about marketing!
I would go that far and say that
Good marketing on a bad game is way better then Bad marketing on a good game
Marketing is so important and at the same time very hard to do as single person!
I have sended about 200 mails to youtubers with keys inside etc. 2 made a video. 180 keys are not even activated or anything.
Your game has to be really something special. There has to be something! Anything about your game which really catches interesst even when its "just" the art style. But as long as your game doesnt clearly stand out, and you don't know million subscriber youtubers as close friends, you aint got a chance! Even those games with great pixel art are getting more and more and one day they are getting also filtered out by a new criteria, because the look won't be a standout reason alone anymore.

Thanks for a great response. I truly agree with everything, especially the text in bold. It's a really sad affair. There are true gems hidden that got no publicity, which are surrounded by heaps of trash that is actually selling well.
Never knew that even reaching out to that many YouTubers would be so unfruitful. Even they have become extremely picky about their content given the stricter monetization rules by YT. Did you reach out to "Worth A Buy" channel?
I am totally seeing the trend these days about the point you mentioned about pixel art. There are many gorgeous pixel art games but they are just too many... and it's no longer enough for your game to just have good graphics and make sales off it. I had always imagined my games (an RPG like "To the Moon", and a management / sim game) with pixel art graphics, with real world theme and all that... But it has to be more than just that.
But I'll stay motivated!
Thank you for your time for this reply!

This actually looks pretty nice. One note though:
You might want to replace the coins with something more atmospheric and less cheap looking.
I assume the intention was to make them clearly visible and impossible to miss, which works, but the the rest of the graphics look good but the coins feel somewhat out of place.

I would like to know what is your first impression about this game when you visit the steam page?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1173310/Lab_7_Cold_Nights/
What do you feel is this game about?
What do you like about it?
What do you not like about it?
Do you feel like you miss informations about the game?
Thank you for your feedback!
Lab 7: Cold Nights is a roguelite zombie adventure.
Your main goal is to get out the facility / laboratory.
You have to explore the facility and solve smaller riddles to find more items or stuff that helps you getting stronger.
You can buy guns, get turrets, barricades and upgrade all of them.
You have to strategically place your turrets and barricades and also manage your coins in the right way.
Also I added a small multiplayer pvp mode, where you can upgrade and send zombies to your enemy player to overrun him and increase your income by sending zombies.
I did develop this game in the last 3 years and I think I am still not done, since release date I have fixed and developed more stuff for the game in very close cooperation with the community in the steam community hub. I have to admit that the live of an indie dev is pretty tough. The first week after release I sold barely 20 units even with a +600 wishlist on my back before release. Let's see what the future brings.
Thank you for your attention and time,
Cheers,
Dave
