Now, if anyone was still wondering about the solution, here it is:

The A was the hint that this part was different from the rest. 8 letters from A would be I. So the sequence was 20, 2, I, 2, 24. The numbers correspond to the numbers of the letters in the alphabet. So if you change the numbers to letters, and change the only letter to a number, you end up with an inverted sequence (hence the hint an hour before it ended: Inversion). This was TB9BX, which was part of the URL of this giveaway.

Damn... either I was too stupid or too smart for this one - either way, I feel really silly.

I thought the puzzle was a sequence and you had to guess "A". Naturally I surmised A being 14, which would make it 20, 2, 22, 2, 24. Let's just say that I tried everything imaginable afterwards; I counted letters/words/etc. per the sequence from the alphabet, game title, the post, the steam page, wikipedia... even google results. Then I did all that, but backwards - and there's more, but I don't even dare think about it anymore.

This site makes you do some crazy things for a game costing a fiver! :)
