the Steam profiles looking entirely different? I just had "level 2" by my avatar and a list of all the games I've played recently along with the achievements I earned underneath. Sorry if this is part of some well-known update I missed!

You've got me all excited now. An official level system for achievements is something Steam has needed for a long time. This will change the way I play PC games.

I believe it's only badges and not achievements. Judging by this and the fact this person is level 0 despite having achievements.

Although it does state "Complete a set of trading cards and craft them into a game badge" so we'll see!
