Click on a group page. Then click join group.

It's pretty simple.

It takes a lot more effort to just casually be on steamgifts. You only have 28 comments so people don't exactly know who you are. You need to eat, sleep, and breathe Steamgifts.

Most of the elitist private gifting groups have requirements and you need to 'apply' on the threads that show up now and then saying 'recruiting'. The admins will then pick people and invite them.

There is other groups out there that are open access though (thinking the SGifts group for one)

You could also read the rules of groups you are interested in, and then ask one of the Admins for an invite.

Most Giveaway Groups on SG have, or had Threads in the Forum in which you can find further information about each group, it's not that complicated really.

Well you got the hint, lot of giveaways are made for some group members, there is lot of dead giveaway groups (mainly public ones) and also some active private groups that has rules which requires contribution ratio and giveaway games in certain schedule... so if you just wanna leech without giveaway forget the giveaway groups

Lol why the sarcastic lines? Comments doesn't mean anything, and having time on the community doesn't mean I'm a recognized member. I just said I spent a good time on SG and still don't know how it works all here. Just see, I discovered today where the comments to the trade were. So yeah I entered a few groups too, found that by myself (hoooraaaay!). Most retarded thread for groups I've seen so far.

If you are talking about private groups you will probably want to make some non-bundle game giveaways and start posting on the forums and giveaways. Just about every private group requires those to things. Once you meet those two requirements and a group has posted that it is looking for members then usually you can post on their topic for an invite. However, making a thread like this could(does) do more damage than good.

There are a couple of groups, which are public. Steam Gift's own group would be a good place to start
