Should I buy CS:GO now or should I wait for lower price? I really want to play this game, but I'm not sure it is worth waiting for the lower price.

I bought my copy at 2,47 euros, so i guess you could wait and save some money. But if you really want to play it buy it now, its up to you now.

My logic tells me to wait, but my brain is yelling to buy.

Because logic and brain have nothing in common.

Buy now, this is the last day of the sale. The game was -75% in 2013, but it didn't go lower this year.

So buy it now, the sale will end in 20 hours from now, there will be no more discounts. :)

Also the game is really good, you will eventually make money by selling the weapon paintings you get.

you could wait for the next operation (CS:GO event) to see if it goes lower... also the game kinda pays for itself, usually, new weapon cases could be sold for up to $4 on the first week.

Its usually cheaper to buy CS complete than CS:GO alone... Even if you already have the other Counter strikes... When i bought CS complete it was like 2 keys for CS complete and 3 keys for CSGO on Steamtrades...

Guys buy it now, if you don't get it you will probably have to wait until december for a new discount...

If you buy today and start playing, you will make $5 or more until december just by selling in-game drops on the market.

It's not worth waiting so much time just for $3-4 discount.

Buy it. If you going to play it you gonna get your money back plus profit IF you sell the cases and maybe some worthy weapons. I bought for 5€ long time ago and I think I have more than 20€ net gain and i dont even try to make profit. Just selling the stuff i get dropped.
But if you are the kind of kid who through money on digital weapon skins, then it doesnt really matter if its 50% or 80%...

I'd say wait. It's almost certainly going to see a better discount again, but if you want it that bad its not an expensive game and if you like it, you'll play it all the time and as its been pointed out, it will eventually pay for itself with the drops and you could see some serious profit if you open the crates and find something valuable.

I'd also suggest trying to get it from a trader. You'd almost certainly save at least a few bucks going the trade route. I just did a quick price check on TF2Outpost, and there's sellers offering it for 4-5 TF2 keys. May be able to find it for 3 if you look hard enough.

I got it last summer sale when it was 75% off and I didn't play it for very long after that initial purchase but got back into it around this past December (almost 300 total hours since December, as I only had 5 prior), and its easily become the game Ive played the most on Steam. There's always people on playing.
