exactly why they will not: Box is $4.99 - and HL2 alone is $2.49 + Portal, + 2 episodes, and (gasp!) TF2 for cards without spending $9 in-game!

i have the box but still do not get card drops for TF2 without paying

but maybe that is due to having it before i got the box

either way the games are worth it i bought it for portal and to have the content for Garys mod

I know The Orange Box is quite old, and Portal was free for a while, but The Orange Box for $5 is still a great value.

you get some free copies to of the other valve games and you get to own ep2 so you would benefit
