Wow just joined this site about a week ago. Been trying to give away games every day. Now when I reach the $30 limit for CV I run into this problem.

The last two giveaways the people claim the game but won't say they got it. Both have the games in their game lists. The codes are now useless. One even claimed the game(s) were region locked but there it is sitting in his list.

Between crippling my CV because I buy games on the cheap mostly in bundles; and now people not even clicking a god damn green box so I can get out of $30 limit. This fucking sucks. Why would people screw people over who are giving shit away?

Some people are jerks, its why others will use CV on their giveaways.

  1. if you only give away Bundled games you can't get above 30$.
  2. even you as the giver can contact support and tell them what happens.
  3. just a warning, no name calling is allowed here. even you are very right and very angry :)

and usually the point of giving is to give.

  1. Most were bundles but the one was the Saint Row Pack which wasn't a bundle game. I bought that specifically to get above the $30.

  2. Support tickets are in but the codes are used so I can't give them away again.

  3. I didn't call anyone names.

thanks for submitting support tickets that early. you were supposed to wait for a week for winners to mark them as received. but why you should wait? let's submit useless tickets because who dafuq else needs mods other than you?

The point of giving is to make someone happy.

Remember that the winner has 7 days to mark his win as received, even though most will do it much quicker. If after those 7 days he still hasn't you can contact support and explain the situation. You could also, in the meantime, contact the winner if you think they might simply have forgot. (Some people don't even log in every day so they might intend to do it next time they're online.)

Better contact winners directly and don't send an email, so at least you have a chatlog proof for support, if something going sideway.

Unfortunately there are a lot of leechers out there, and that's why you at least put some amount of CV requirement.

They have 7 days to mark as received.

Are you going to burst like that on the forums because you don't like how the site works - perhaps haven't you read the FAQ and don't understand how things go here - and use expressions like "cripple my CV", "give shit away" every time someone doesn't do what you want in the minute ?
