Indiegala GAs are from their store directly. They don't use gleam or necessitate you to liking or subscribing anything. Apart from having an account there of course.

Unless they changed it membership in the IndieGala Steam group is required to claim a key.
I think most people overlook that because I for example joined that group 3 years ago and once it's done it's done but it's still a mandatory requirement.

that too is technically against the rules as well, but everyone overlooks and ignores it when it's just a single solitary requirement such as joining the group. people mostly have issues with gleam and woobox powered ones in general tbh.

Indeed. But don't get me wrong I'm not saying I don't want those IndieGala promotional freebies posted here. I'd rather we changed / clarified the rules so gibs from reputable sites line IndieGala or BundleStars can be posted even if they ask something tiny like joining 1 group in return but scummy sites likes HRK or Gleam GAs / raffles with 20 tasks can not.

yeah i wish it was clarified even better as well. it needs clarified more then just a limit of tasks too, because i'd still say alienware's level requirement is only 1task that is actually quite a choir. not only is it a choir, but it's a choir that takes people away from this sites forum and has them participating on a completely different forum instead.

Thanks for pointing that out :) Although one could argue that automatically being signed up for the newsletter is just a different kind of task but as I said I find what IndieGala asks in return for their promotional freebies absolutely reasonable.
Also a rather philosophical question if mandatory acceptance of something constitues a task...

Is it ok to post a link to a raffle that is currently on Bundlestars?
It uses gleam and there is an optional way to get an entry by joining the Bundlestars steam group.
I'm asking this because the last time Bundlestars held a raffle some users here missed out on it.
