Read about another game last week (can't remember) but seems 80 euro slowly becomes the new price.

80? Since when? I was expecting for games to slowly transition to 70 but 80 is a leap.

EDIT: They're both Square Enix so I think they're the only ones crazy enough to do it for now.

It's 70 (for me atleast, not sure if it was more for other people, depending on country) the vault edition is also 100 euro.

I knew about it, it's why I said it's transitioning to 70. 80 is way too much, it's like 90 US dollars.

The only thing we as consumers can do is not give in and buy these overpriced DIGITAL games...I'll wait for it to be in game pass or years until it's cheaper.

People that say they will buy Final Fantasy when it becomes 75% off and better i have to say that Final Fantasy and Nier games never go below -50% on steam sales and -55% in most legitimate stores. only their base price drops after many years. it will be a long time till you see ff7 remake below 30€

you is right, and this is very sad but people poor can try
1) don't buy,use wishlist
2) wait 1-2 years deals,or hope to win in giveaway
3) use temporal accounts regions (1 for every game) , for example that game in turkey is 38€
4) Try to use xboxgamepass, giveaways, msrewards or such things etc.
This said, that game,is overstimate in my opinion,by both media and gamers.
To me looks like a mini game of ffxv.
Value of this game for me is 5€ not more than it.
i can pay 60€ for sekiro or astroneer or starfield, not for crapspoken

another day another moan topic from Lugum - i mean you have more than 10500 games already and you NEED so badly to buy this one - but not so badly you will pay their price - i mean do you really need any more games , i suspect you have a good amount you have never even played but hey why not chuck another on to your forgotten pile of things you won't use and then move on to wasting money or time complaining about the next game

You too now? I am bringing discussion to a forum that is otherwise dieing, more then you do with your complaining about supposed other people complaining. And i can and will make stop if it seems to bother people then this forum will become an empty shell.

Who or whenever said i NEED this game? I bring in a discussion about a possible new price standard, the ones the new consoles like the ps5 seem to be doing. I don't NEED this game, it doesn't even seem to be my type of game, so it's totally bogus what you are trying to say, try to read better next time please.

so you are saving this site by moaning about a price of a game you don't want - why don't Vegans complain abut the price of a hotdog then?

(Again) This is a new thing and might be the future pricing of gaming and this will affect everyone, even future games you might like, thus this creates a conversation for everyone.

You clearly can't read, so i am done with this, not even sure why i have to explain myself. You seem to be in a nice mood today.

Make your mind. Who's got the bad mood?

I hate having to repeat myself because someone just doesn't read or even make a whole fuzz about this topic and called me moaning twice. Her, not me, then making such a comment i don't really believe is anything harsh or having a bad mood?
It takes a little more then that. ;)

This is why I personally hope that AA will become more of a thing in the future. AAA just seems so unsustainable, considering the amount of money they throw at projects while still barely delivering a finished product. It is unsurprising that they are seeking ways to mitigate risks and the best way the can come up with right now is just for you to pay more. However, I think there are plenty of players who would gladly sacrifice a lot of the superficial "bling" and unnecessary padding of those games for overall better and more complete games and I'm also sure there are many devs in the industry who would come up with some amazing and creative projects when challenged with smaller budgets.

Wouldn't be surprised, volvo's greed knows no bounds. Yes, I am still salty they forced 95% game sellers to sell (with "recommeded" prices) DLCs at 50% off while GotY/complete editions are 75% off, meaning most of the time it costs less than DLCs do and you're forced to rebuy base game if you want to save money. Thanks volvo, you killed my interest in being 'early adopter' after I was burned a few times, now I spend 1/5 of what I used to...

I remember when console games were 700 marks over here back in the day. 70 bucks for SNES games.
This long streak of $60/60€ for a new AAA title is almost an outlier in that case.

True, I think (we talking about 30 years ago, so bit vague) i also might have paid over 100 gulden (which should equal 100 euro) for Iron Sword and Mortal Kombat on Gameboy. But they also ended up quickly in the discount bin (even Mario games back then), loved going to the toy store and just rummage through it. I sadly never had a SNES, still don't actually (i got a console collection).

Generic game with microtransactions and an abusive price = NOPE, not gonna buy it.

Like with the COD ganes... I just wait for a really cheap price (considering that I 'm in Argentina and that the price with taxes is really really expensive)
