Do you guys have huge games installed on your hard drive currently?

My biggest game is Max Payne 3 at 30gbs which took me i think 2 or 3 days straight to download if i remember correctly.

TF2 right now, kinda amazing how big games have gotten, I remember games on 1 floppy eventually becoming 4 floppy's and that was HUGE

Followed by a huge leap to CD-ROM's with games that took a whopping 70mB to install

I sadly had to uninstall that to make room for my new games.

I'd really like to get back to playing it again, but it's going to be a looooong time before that happens.

I've only got about 7 GB of free space right now and I still have a lot of games to play and some larger games that aren't going anywhere.

ok this is really weird and only seems to happen with folders in Steam
I have Dragon Age Complete as well so I checked and the folder only showed about 7GB - I OPENED the folder, went back out, then it says 23GB - wth ?? and I've seen the Steam folder itself constantly increasing the longer I hover over it

anybody else see this kind of behavior..? really weird

Hovering over it isn't going to be accurate... if you right-click and go to properties, you're going to get an accurate result.

It is very well know, just because you don't know it doesn't mean nobody does.

It's a very specific simulation for a special group of people, not that random shooterstuff.

If you are going to develop a game then you should think about the size,concept, and etc

Size is a huge problem for some games and this one definitely have one

Almost no one would want it if it's going to take such a long time to install/download

Nobody=99.99% of the ppl in this world

But it's not really a game, it's a very realistic flight sim for a specific group of people that want to know what happens in certain conditions. It's got very little competition for its target market.
