Ok guys,

When it comes to table top RPGing I am usually on the top of my game, but our current GM has announced they we will be starting Tomb of Horrors with updated Pathfinder setting and rules. My dilemma is whether or not I should multi-task. My current ideas are lvl 10 cleric, or a multi-classed cleric/paladin. What are the opinion from the table top gaming section?

Also what do you think about this for a name?

Name looks awesome, never heard of this game but was never a hardcore table topper. Sounds fun though, good luck!

I don't personally care about crunch. I think overthinking about numbers completely fucks what a RPG must be.

That being said, Acererak is an undead, so yup, cleric-paladin all the way.

I am a bit behind on stats and rules, but why cleric/paladin? Only real benefit I know would be slightly better hit chance by sacrificing higher level spells. Use to be weapon limits on clerics as well but use of kits can change what those limits are (deity prefered weapons etc)

The higher saving throws are nice. Also the immunity to disease is nice.

I know that the game has changed over the years but I remember playing the original Tomb of Horrors back around 1980 (yes, I'm old). Next to Vault of the Drow this was one of the hardest and my most favorite one to GM. I always got my a** kicked when I was a PC!

I would definitely go with a cleric/paladin but it also depends on what the rest of the players are running and how large the group is.

Smaller group, but with non-experienced players. That is way I thought about the Paladin/Cleric. Basically a healing backup tank so to speak.

Pick one role and stick with it. It's an unforgiving adventure and it doesn't allow for much margin of error as far as DC's go so you shouldn't squander your potency by trying to do another party member's job as well as your own.

Yeah, already rolled a straight up cleric. I played it back in 2nd edition and didn't want to split my classes. Luckily we have two more players so I don't have to worry about multitasking.
