I've been using Idle Master for awhile and recently it does not find games that I know have card drops. It says 0 games need to be run but actually I have some. So I end up running them manually.

Anyone know what's the problem and what I can do to fix it?

I've had it glitch at times, so I just run the old version which I still have on my system.

Have you changed the order it processes games? I've had times when it will timeout trying to search my library to sort them and then says I have none to do when it gives up. Changing to the default order fixed it for me.

And my error occurred with both the new version and the old. I think it started when pages were added to the badge list.

I think the old version reads the first part of the badge page. If you have more pages it will scan the first one.

Idle Manager is a portable app that doesn't install and deletes most of its cache data after close. Maybe re downloading a newer version is in order?

Two possibilities, out of probably many:

It can't work if it can't read the badges page, which happens sometimes, especially with people that have a lot of games. Old forum topic on it. I've noticed the problem has been coming back lately.

If not that, then if you have either of the versions set to most value and there is no price for a badge, as of yet, when using Enhanced Steam, then it will cause problems. The old version won't check them and the new one crashes. It should check both prices and stuff without prices. Maybe a future version will. At that point you have to switch off from most value and pick a different sorting option.

haven't had any errors which couldn't be solved by a log out/log in in with in idlemaster ...
only other possibility (high unlikely) you have new protection running (ip blocking kind)

You need to update to the newest version. The is a bug in older versions after Steam changed the badge page layout.
