Happy birthday! Sadly, my birthdays have all been pretty dull, with the exception of two:

1st birthday: don't remember too much of it (hmm, I wonder why?), but from what I've been told, I was dropped onto a table face-first, and had to go to the ER for stitches (which is why I have a very noticeable scar in my right eyebrow :/)

17th birthday: I had been feeling pretty depressed in the month leading to my birthday (for reasons I can no longer remember), so several of my friends from high school decided to help cheer me up. They made me a couple of birthday cards (which I still carry around with me), a cake (which we ate in the middle of Spanish class), and decorated my locker with banners and balloons. This is one of the top 5 nicest things anyone has ever done for me, and I still have many happy thoughts about that day (except for the fact that I had to get my hair shaved off because of a particularly nasty lice infection I had picked up some days prior :P)

The moral of the story: have fun, spend time with your family and friends today, and don't let people pick you up over a table. Especially if they have lice.
