So after getting into collecting games, steam trading cards, bundles and giveaways i ran into the site SteamTradeMatcher.

After seeing a single other trading bot, giving fair 1:1 trades for cards, i throught it would be a fun project to do so i found the code
for an older already existing bot and starting building on to it, fixing mobile confirmations etc. when valve released those and more.

The project started small and i wasn't expecting too many people to be using it, but after a while a few people started donating
cards to the bots inventory, myself contributing a bunch aswell, slowly growing it to having nearly 2000 cards on stock at any time
(plus a few hundred in trade hold, due to me allowing people without authenticator to trade with it) and it having traded nearly 30.000 items!

This amount of traded items makes me proud that someone actually had a use for my bot to help them out, and i have decided to
host a little giveaway train (1 game key per 1000 trades) as a thanks to everyone who might or might not have contributed to my bot.

Thanks for accepting trades with people who don't use the Authenticator. Because I had multiple 1:1 offers rejected from so called Trade Bots. I don't understand the problem with waiting for 15 days T_T

The problem is it limits the amount of items available in inventory for others to trade with for 15 days, with many trades the amount of cards in trade hold quickly add up, locking a big chunk of inventory. Lately my bot usually always have 15+ trades in tradehold of various sizes, totaling 50-100+ cards often, that's nearly 5% of inventory locked away. I have decided to live with having slightly less inventory available, so the few people that for some reason "cannot" get authenticator on their account is able to swap cards aswell, even tho there isn't really any excuse for it, as even without a smartphone you can use a pc based authenticator like WinAuth instead, but still i give people the option for now as it's not THAT many people that trade without authenticator.

I understand it partially. But the Trade Bot is not profit orientated. So if you make 1 trade in those 15 days or 100 shouldn't change anyhting (under the assumption that people only do 1:1 trades). Also it should be less of a problem the larger your inventory is.

But as said before. I'm just thankful I can use a Trade Bot for once since others just refuse the offers. One bot refused the offer and the card i wanted to trade is sitting in its inventory for the last 30 days. In this case it lost a trade it could have done -_-

I trade with your bot almost every day, via STM.

I only voted no, because I never traded with you bot before, but I can imagine to trade with your bot if it shows up in my SteamTradeMatcher results.
