My anime backlog is too big right now, and working full time isn't helping me get through it. I loved the original Avatar though, and hope to start this soon.

:( I wish that were an option. Working mon-friday 8(yes 8) to 5, and I sit in a chair all day and am just bored to death. If the opportunity calls for it I'm going to just bring some headphones and watch my anime on here xD. That's what I did yesterday, watching the 3hr long movie, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya.

It's pretty awesome. I got into the first series too late and couldn't be arsed to catch up with it all, but I've been following Legend of Korra since day one and I'm pretty hyped about it. There's some things I don't really like but overall it's pretty great. Undoubtedly one of the best Western cartoons I've seen in recent years (and better than most Eastern cartoons as well, for that matter).
I really dig how they dragged the whole element-bending thing into a more modern setting.

The characters are generally older than the AangGang. If you hated the original characters because they sometimes behave like children with ADHD - this new one is slightly better.
However they are now teens with their problems. So you might consider that annoying, too.

Why would you go to the effort of using a proxy to watch a video that is blocked in your country, possibly affecting the streaming in a negative way, when you could just download the show in HD and watch it however you want?
If Nickelodeon doesn't want my traffic on their site, I sure as hell won't go out of my way to give it to them anyway.

Love it actually. Though I'm kinda glad the whole tournament arc thingy is over. Felt a wee bit too familiar to that era when cartoons seemed fixated on basing their entire premise around a single competition.
