The Great GIVE-A-THON - FEEDBACK Thread

I like this GIVE-A-THON...seems like a good idea to open new giveaways based on their popularity. And as the most valuable game is the last it is a motivation for other to join on the lesser giveaways.

As you are asking about the idea for next game series...what about something from Spiderweb Software (Avernum, Eschalon etc.). Those are quite popular games that are not so expensive.

too bad I already had the game, which was a risky choice because it got bundled and went also on super sale more than once and finding an increasing number of participants each time could have been hard.. luckily it didn't happen :)

I pretty much liked everything! It's a pretty cool concept, the idea with the goals to unlock further giveaways which all have the same theme :D

I'd love to see additional Give-A-Thons in the future, the games could either have the same topic (for instance indie, a certain developer, RPG, soundtracks, DLCs etc.) or be all a part of the same series, like the first Give-A-Thon. There's no special topic I'd love to see, these are just my ideas.

Would be great if the tasks vary and if there are several tasks to reach the goal. Tasks beside the amount of entrants could be to reach a certain amount of group members, needing to solve a puzzle (it has to be solved by someone to unlock it for all) or needing several people to solve a puzzle, to complete a challenge for a game, having every single entrant to post a comment (a troll could ruin everything, though, so maybe 90% of the entrants or something) and so on. There can be many tasks, I belive.

Can't wait to see more Give-A-Thons, amazing idea and thank you for everything! :D

Nice idea though the only issue was that it involved one of the games that practically everyone on steam has.
