I have a ridiculous addiction to 100% Orange Juice. Fantastic board game.
Trails in the Sky is one of the best JRPGs on Steam, currently half off. (The sequel is 30% off if you're looking for that!)
If you're open to reading a really good book, I highly recommend fault.
and I know it's only 30% off but undertale is only $7 guys which is less than a dollar for each hour of sheer joy

I was enjoying Undertale a lot, but got to a point that got irritating. I guess I should finish it.
I've heard a lot of good things about Trails, thinking of picking that up someday.

The Witcher 2 -85%
The Witcher 3 -50%
The Witcher Trilogy -58%
The 1st one has quite a unique gameplay style, more akin to a rhythm game than a RPG, but the 2 & 3 are easier to enjoy. All of them are great, with great story & character development, etc.

I bought 2 in a sale many years ago, but very quickly gave up. I think it was during the tutorial about the combat system, it seemed overly complex and i couldn't get in to it at all. Is 3 the same?

Here's some of my favorites (both on good sale and of what I've played):
Defense Grid w/ DLC (the original) $4.99 (I have approx 400 hrs on it, my favorite TD game)
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/19080/
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons $1.49 (just excellence all around)
http://store.steampowered.com/app/225080/
Spirits of Xanadu $2.49 (a ship is lost in deep space, it's you're job to go find it and bring it back. an indie gem)
http://store.steampowered.com/app/312230/
Gone Home $3.99 (not a super discount, but really good if you like exploration and walking sim type stuff)
http://store.steampowered.com/app/232430/
Stanley Parable $2.99 (do you like trying to do things in games you're not supposed to do? then play this. excellent)
http://store.steampowered.com/app/221910/
The Swapper $2.99 (very good puzzle game wrapped up within beautiful sci fi environment and story)
http://store.steampowered.com/app/231160/
edit:
To The Moon is excellent at $1.99 if you haven't played yet.

Good choices!
I enjoyed The Swapper a lot, and To The Moon and The Stanley Parable are both very decent.

Valkyria Chronicles
Anime style story-driven tactical RPG about courageous Squad 7 of militia fighting a hostile nation that invaded beautiful and peaceful country of Galia.
PROS:
MEH:
CONS:
As you can see, important stuff in the game is really good. There are some nuisance bugs and glitches, but it's all within norms. I recommend Valkyria Chronicles wholeheartedly.
GAMEPLAY 8/10
GRAPHICS 9/10
AUDIO 9/10
STORY 9/10
P.S. I'm grateful for marking my Steam review as useful :-)
P.P.S. The game is currently priced €4.99 in Steam Summer Sale.

Good review, marked as helpful :-)
I like it - though I haven't got that far yet. The story was dragging a bit so I didn't quite get in to it as much as I would have liked. But the gameplay itself is good fun, and the artwork certainly helps.

I see a lot of great suggestions here, and I want to add Teslagrad -75% in the moment. Great game and one of the few in which I achieved 100%.
If you're in the mood for something more casual, I recommend you Hero of the Kingdom but the discount is only 50% currently.
Finally, thank you for all the great shares threepw00d:)
Edit: Hero of the Kingdom II is on https://www.orlygift.com/giveaway, so you can try your luck there. :)

thx for the info threepw00d... it is certain worthwhile... let me say that I bought Plague Inc since it had a "decent" discount... it is a really great game for killing time (in case any of you know what free time means and teach me about it ;_; )

Bumping for joy. Thanks.
I bought the Borderlands franchise pack, which was discounted at 75% I think. And because I already owned all but one game, I only paid for that, at a further reduced cost of $3.
Check out some games within packs and bundles for some you already own and get some great discounts.

Riff Racer - 75% off
It's like Audiosurf + Wipeout in a sense - put in your own music and ride drive tracks. Quite fun and challenging, and only limited by how big is your music library :P
You might remember my post in your old wishlist thread about Epistory (34% off) - I finally picked it up this sale because I REALLY wanted it, and I enjoyed every 7 hours of it :)

+1 for Gunpoint, really good and fun little game.
I can recommend Age of Empires II HD too for just 3usd, and absolute classic!
Also, I bought Punch Club wich has a really nice discount right now and can recommend it too since I have been playing it a couple of hours and I'm enjoying it a lot.
Thanks for the GAs threepw00d! :D

Dungeon Defenders- Addictive hybrid tower defence/action title.
20xx- A fun roguelike game with MegaMan X playstyle
South Park A stick of Truth- Hours and Hours of laughing if you do enjoy the South Park Humor. It might be best to purchase it when you are able to preorder the sequel if you plan on getting it day one.

I'm playing through South Park right now. I haven't been a fan of the show since around halfway through the second season and probably haven't actually seen an episode since around the third season, so I'm clearly not the intended audience for this game. I will say that the developers did a great job of capturing the feel of the show, though. It's a rather simple kind of RPG with what I am sure are thousands of jokes that go over my head since I don't know the show. But even so, I'm some ten hours in and already I have witnessed children being raped at least three times for the sake of humor. I know the intent of the show is taking things to the extreme of extremes and I guess that's fine, but oog, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

So, the Steam Summer Sale is upon us, and to be honest it's pretty disappointing. From my entire wishlist, only three games over 75% discount, the vast majority are at 30-50% off. And I know, I shouldn't complain... 30-50% off is still a very fine deal. But I guess I've been spoilt by years of 80-90% off discounts, and it's made me a somewhat patient and frugal gamer. I'm quite happy to wait for a decent price as I feel less guilty about spending my money on it.
Anyway... while I couldn't find much to buy myself, I realised many of my favourite games in my library are on sale. So I ask you, take a look through your library and pick out some of your favourites, and it they have a reasonably good sale price right now, recommend them to everyone! Not a strict rule, but try to recommend games that are at least 50% off or more at the moment.
I'll start then:
Transistor is one of my favourite games of all time. I really can't recommend it enough. Beautiful soundtrack, beautiful artwork, I loved the gameplay mechanics - they took the already great Bastion style gameplay and improved on it immensely. Everyone should play this game. Currently 75% off.
Mark of the Ninja is probably still my favourite indie game. Stealth platformer with a great atmosphere, tight controls and excellent gameplay. Loved it. Hell why not splash out on the Special Edition! Both are currently 75% off.
Recettear is an amazing little game. Manage a shop, hire adventurers to explore dungeons to get rare items to sell, raise your prices and get rich. Capitalism, ho! Seriously fun game, I've played through it twice. Currently 75% off.
Gunpoint is just awesome. Fantastic writing lift this ordinary looking stealth game above most of the others. Tom Francis, the one man dev team, is amazing. A mix of puzzle, strategy, stealth, action.. watch the videos to get an idea, but this is a great little game. Currently 75% off.
Ori and the Blind Forest is an outstanding platformer. When you get in to it and start unlocking more abilities, it's up there with the best of the genre like Mario, Metroid etc. Really nicely done, with great artwork and music to top it off. Currently 75% off. might only be a discount if you own the original version?
The Long Dark is a very decent survival game. Bought it a long time ago in Early Access, it's still in Early Access but the devs are pretty active and it has improved a lot since then. The kind of game you can get drawn in to the atmosphere and lose a few hours. Currently 66% off.
Party Hard is a simple but addictive stealth/action pixel graphic game. It actually took a lot more strategy to complete than I first expected. Really good fun, entertainingly violent, worth it for the price. Currently 75% off.
12 is Better Than 6 plays like a western Hotline Miami. I really enjoyed it. It's fairly short, but good fun and worth your time. Currently 70% off.
And... well I guess this will get more exposure with a few giveaways to bump. Here you go!
Level 5 - Transistor
Level 5 - Mark of the Ninja
Level 4 - Recettear
Level 4 - Gunpoint
If you feel inspired to create some giveaways, feel free to post them and i'll add the link to this post!
MiniTaurus has shared two SEA region giveaways with us. Thanks!
