Has anyone gotten invited to the ArcheAge Alpha, or have paid to get in? Think it's worth paying 50 bucks for the Founder's Pack to get into the closed beta, or would it be best to wait until the open beta starts?

I spent maybe a month playing the beta on the Russian servers, and it was so much fun even though I couldn't understand a word. The quest system is lacking, and perhaps even grindy, but the world was interesting and the player interaction was enough to keep me playing.

For the alpha you need to pay $150 to play and is 24/7 for beta $50 but is only events like weekends or something like that.
Just wait for release too much money to play a game that is gonna be F2P.

Sorry for my english. :P

Please don't waste money on this "game". It's extremely dull, boring and nothing but a grind fest :

Yeah its usually an aggravating experience, they need to pay me for that...especially if they want me to report errors...

I'd just wait if I were you. Only buy closed beta access if you're really into it and want to support the game. Keep in mind that your character will be deleted - so you'd have to start all over again a third time when the game launches...
