Installing mods from Steam (half life)

Guys, am I the only one who can't install mods from Steam? I wanted to install something from here http://store.steampowered.com/mods/70/ (Half Life 1 mods) and it just stucked Steam main window, undreezed after 15 seconds and it didnt started downloading. It just did nothing.

Steam removed the files to install the Half-Life 1 mods on their servers a long time ago
Check the mod's official websites or check the Half-Life modDB page to find the mod you're looking for and download the installer.

That's wise from Steam to keep it on their store and let the user guess if it's uesr's mistake or Steam's mistake, thank you for info.
