He didn't try to give you a fake key instead of the promised one, he offered them as apology and asked you to agree to giveaway removal by the mods. I understand not getting what you expected is disappointing, but this happens and you should agree to deletion of the said giveaway. Also, don't call out people it's against the rules.

It is a pity that he didnt have the key, but it sometimes happens. I have been asked to ask SG support to delete a game that I won, because the user had a duplicate key, and I agreed without any drama

+1 Happened to me a few times also. The gifter even offered to compensate OP (with other gifts) for the time wasted just so he could agree to have the removed, but OP just seems reluctant (which is also fine, and OP could just wait 7 days to mark as not received but he chose to call out instead, which is kind of a dick move)

You need to remove his name. Not only is it against the rules to call out, but it's most likely publicily emberassing him.
As others said, I think you misunderstood the conversation. He wasn't trying to replace the game with another. He was trying to delete the giveaway with your agreement, and then give you a game in compensation.
It's a bummer not to get the game you won, but accidents happen. I've had to delete a few giveaways, and the winners always understood.

There is a good chance he didn't know about the problem until after the giveaway was over. It happens more then you think. If you both agree to delete the giveaway then he gets no CV and no one gets in trouble.

This is SG not the lottery, just post in the GA that you won that your ok with them deleting the giveaway and move on. Stuff like this happens to everyone just treat him how you would want to be treated if it was your GA and your key that was no good. and you just contact support if you need to for complains not make a forum post as thats considered calling him out,right now your the one breaking the rules,he did nothing wrong he just made a mistake and tried to be nice about it offering you another key.

You cant report a person for not giving a giveaway based on a genuine error. Only when he has done multiple fake giveaways then he would be dealt with (which I do not think he did).
I assume the game you won was an AAA game, but sometimes people do make mistakes and there is nothing you can do about it except move on mark as not received, or allow the gifter to remove the giveaway

btw i needs mods help with this username wont give me the key of a game i won because he said the key was used and then try to give me keys for other games that wasn't part of the giveaway then blacklist me when i wont take the keys from the other games here is the text on what happen
