on every giveaway like have a random winner/s... so is possible add a feature where the server chose a plus random utent to give it back the point spent on the giveaway? and call it "lucky Shot"?

This could be interesting. Especially on those extra beefy giveaways you spend 60+ points on.

I don't see why anyone would care about getting their points back after a giveaway, there's nothing wrong with the current system. It's a pretty stupid and unnecessary idea anyway...

Your points regenerate pretty fast, so I don't see why someone would want that.

There is really no need. Most argue that point generation should be further reduced.

Useless and dumb, nobody's THAT desperate to points. I've never encountered a situation where I had no points.

Having more games -> being able to enter less giveaways -> not having where to spent points

I have 300p at the moment, to get some points back would not change anything. Actually I think that 300p is too much already..

Right.. I don't understand how one are supposed to consume every point. Feels like everybody is entering just for the entering, and not for wanting the game. People should prioritize the game they really want. That would also increase the odds.

If they would only join games they want, no one would complain that the game they won is shitty.

I would be more in favor of limiting everyone to 3 entries a day, that way everyone would have way better odds to win anything.

Actually that's not a bad idea.. Since it's too much points "in circulation". The odds are really terrible if it's not a private or "secret society group" giveaways..

I'd say keep the point system and start with a 5 entry limit per day. See how much of an impact it makes and go down to 3 entries a day if it's still too bad.

This way everyone would have better odds and this time people might only enter games they're actually interested in.

I think it's worth a try anyway, like a test period of, like two weeks?

Or a new category of giveaways that are limited to 1 or 2 entries per day? So user must really decide which one (or two) of the games in that category they want the most. Points should still apply.

I did a quick search and it's not viable apparently

Those were posts on limiting the number of entries per giveaway unless you meant something in the replies which I to be honest did not read very many of. I didn't see anything about limiting the number of entries someone could have per day.

EDIT: To make this post valid since I was preempted I will add that I really like this idea but think if it was ever implemented it should be for public giveaways only. Groups should have the freedom to run their giveaways how they want(for the most part).

Seems like a good idea to me, too. That would guarantee that you enter only giveaways for games you really want AND would increase your chances of winning.

Same, I just checked and it seems it wouldn't work

Um, those threads are about limiting the number of entries per giveaway though, not the number of giveaways one can enter per day.

Every day there's like 5 suggestions how to "improve" the site... Which are really thinly veiled attempts to get changes made which people think would increase their own chance of winning.

I'm sorry you don't get free games fast enough. I'm sure you deserve them.

To be fair, the OP only won 11 giveaways in the three month he's here now - I can totally see why he wants to enter more giveaways faster. He's not being a greedy whiner at all.

I don't really see this being useful, it is only fair that you have to pay a certain amount of points to have a chance at winning a giveaway. I don't see why it should be given back (even to one lucky person)

I think the points we get are more than enough ... unless you enter for every giveaway you see just becouse you can. I enter only for giveaways of games that i actually want and i will play and i always have leftover points. If they add a feature like that there will be just more people that enter every giveaway they see and then say "oh i didn't want it, so i'm making a giveaway for it" and then get banned, or people that put the game in their library and will never play it.

"Sucky shot".

Can't see the point in this.

If you're running out of points, be more selective in the giveaways you enter.
