That gif is amazing! Beautiful and sarcastic, perfect

I had more ready that I haven't had to deploy yet. I don't want to be a dick, but my thoughts on the matter have been made public and are I feel clear and fairly reasonable. Beyond that - what else is there as a response?

I have thought about it but never acted on it,like driving and some one cuts you off i sometimes to think myself i wish it was like GTA i could just flip them the bird and run them off the road and laugh as i drive off.
Though i suppose being drunk might make you act on it without thinking it through first just lucky that person did not react and maybe harmed you for your actions.Drinking can be fun but it can also be bad for your health if you do something that could harm you like you did.
At least you will have a weird story to pass around the next time you throw some back

Man, shiiiiiiit. I wonder what would happen after a 5 hour session of Bad Rats.

Did it really happend? I mean, people make so diffetent desrciptions here that I honestly can't tell if this is real story or just... a story ;P
On the other hand - what's up with you FB thingy? I hope you didn't stop making illuminati gameboys and hooker gabens. You got a tallent.

That story is unfortunately real...
I have been doing a bunch of paintings for birthdays, etc that I have been obliged not to share before the relevant surprises. I'm going to try and have a push on publicising the facebook thing in the next week or so though...

Damn. I honestly don't know what to say about this. I kinda hope that's fault of that alcohol, because any other explanation would be... hmm, bad. Also you was lucky that there wasn't any cops around. "Sir, step away frome the car!" "Wha.. oh shit, I'm sorry officer, I was thinking I'm playing the game!" "Lou, call paramedics, we might have some case here... Sir, please come in my direction, slowly...".
Also if somehow media would know about this, you would be example that video games are bad for like next ten years :P
I'm happy that you are still paint. No rush on FB thingy, it's good enough to know that you didn't stop.

And then what happened? You didn't just walk away from the car like nothing happened, did you?

Yes. Do you think I should have made sure there were no witnesses?

I never get Hangovers B)
But no, but I am not entirely aware after a night of drinking, it might be just that you were tired. Maybe it affected but at the end of the day, its your responsibility not the games xD

I worked with a real life Zimos. There would be an interesting story but I'm not sure about the legal ramifications given an ongoing court case.

I'd just like to say I don't actually have one of those to get confused and do that in real life.

I'm a bit divided on the issue myself, while on one hand I believe gaming has too often demonized for violent crime... like how those goddamned some US politicians try to pin Columbine, gun crimes, etc to video games... not the mention the utterly ridiculous heavy-handed censoring they have in Germany and Aus... What with "psychologists" and "experts" chiming in on the issue with circumstantial, little to no evidence...
EDIT: on second thought, both dems and repubs blame vidya for violent crime, although for different reasons. Changed to reflect this.

I do sometimes feel that my gaming hobby has contributed a teeny weeny bit of antisocial-ness to my personality.
While I have not done any violent acts that local authorities know about to this day, I can really imagine a scenario where a more... impressionable mind can be pushed over the edge by video games.
However, legislating against videogames, or censoring the hell out of them is clearly not the solution.

I think if somebody was to commit violent crimes because of a video game than they must have had serious issues that should have been dealt with by society before they ever picked up a controller. Blaming video games would be the easy option and failing to acknowledge a string of failures.

I don't know too much about Democrats and Republicans but over here I think computer games have been part of a string of political punching bags that politicians of all parties have crusaded against for a bit of publicity with little fear of serious retaliation.
When I was very young video nasties were the thing that was going to bring down society - the first VHS video recorders were appearing in peoples homes and there was little regulation and pre-teens such as myself were enjoying Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Driller Killer, Basket Case, the Hills have Eyes, Zombie Flesheaters, Cannibal Ferox, etc.
Before that it was violent comic books and when home movies got too popular and were making too much money to push around games seemed to become the new target. Although as far as I recall they had to work pretty hard at first to get noticed - the first game to be rated 18+ by the BBFC had to go pretty far out of its way to achieve its brief notoriety. And I think now politicians are moving on to new targets as gaming has become too mainstream.

I wouldn't have got arrested - I'd have just hid in a building I owned until my notoriety went away. I own a shed.

So recently I went for a night out with some people I know and I guess I don't despise. And I had put the next day aside for purposes of recovery. And sitting with a hangover I drank some Guinness for breakfast and decided to go for some of the achievements I never got round to grinding out on Saints Row the Third. And I played about five hours straight without moving and then decided to go to the local shop for some milkshake. And I didn't drive if for no other reason than frankly I was still probably slightly too drunk to drive. But getting to the end of my short road I decided that walking was too much trouble. And there was a car stopped at traffic lights and I walked up and reached towards the handle to pull out the driver and jack their car and then as they looked at me in horror I realised it was real life. And didn't steal their car. But it was pretty damn close.
Has anyone else had this problem? Do computer games really lead to criminal acts? Should Saints Row come with some kind of warning about this?
In other news I have now experienced that contributor level degradation that people often moan about and my own level has alarmingly gone from 7.12 to 7.06. It is OK though - I think I have found a simple fix to the issue.
