I sit for my excretory excursions, so my garments (which are flapless in any case) go pretty much all the way down. I prefer sitting as it means I don't need to aim, there's no danger of spray-back from any high velocity liquids impacting surfaces at odd angles, I don't need to make any distinction in my positioning between urination and defecation, and it is just generally more comfortable.

So no flappy bird here?

I have never thought about this, i just pull down.
But it is up to you, what you prefer. I think both ways are possible.

I usually use the flap since I normally wear jeans and I'm too lazy to undo my belt (unless I want to do a #2 of course).

1) I don't wear underwear.
2) When it's cold, I wear pants and not underwear. Then I pull them down all the way.
3) When in a public toilet (extremely rarely), I do either of the two options you listed.

I pull down my boxers, I use the ones that dont have the flap, but still I wouldn't use it.

Some guys pull all the way down their pants and boxers, but that crazy
