Should I quit?
It's not hard getting a job in my country, it's hard to get a good job
Actually that is irrelevant, Chack you don't have a job? :(

Its your first day man. You'll get more comfortable with it. Stick to it and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how outgoing you can become.

I don't really want to get more comfortable with it :/
I could just wait for a job I like more, I "need" the money only for buying games and going out and stuff.

Swagalicious01
Get used to it and try to get less swagalicious time by time... no?
Comment has been collapsed.
But it isn't something you can change so easily :D
You didn't sound rude :D

+1 what Swag says. It's gonna be rough to start but once you come out of that shell you'll be a new person. A job can give you more than a paycheck. It can change who you are for the better.

nice sneaky edit :D
I decided to try it out, see how it is. Now I'm just thinking if I should continue or wait a bit for a job I like more. I still live with my parents for at least a year, so real need for money.

You have a job now. Don't start thinking you want to quit already. Jobs are hard to come by. And you need money. Save money, for emergencies, for when you get unemployed, forwwhatever the future holds. Also dream jobs require experience and a good CV. How can you get a dream job without these things? Only in dreams

Jobs aren't that hard to come by. I don't have real need for money, I would make giveaways more often then. Some jobs don't require either and I think I would like them. I don't exactly have a "dream job", but I could definitely find something I like better than this.

Prepare a presentation. Say everything good about the product or service(don't tell the bad); your client will say no; wish him a nice day and move on.
Making a preparation is the most important. With the time you will get used with the drill.

I have something that is almost like a script, it's not that I don't know how to do it, it's just that I have a bad feeling about it. I have no idea what I don't like about it, but I don't like it. Also, if they say no, I get no money .

In life you'll have to face things you don't like, it's part of it. You have to face it, solve it, and live with it. Is not a bad thing, it's life, and you'll get experience, and more confidence to solve things in the future, and in the end, be happier. Be grateful for what you have and the job you have. Opportunities will rise, but you have to be prepared.

Money is good in an outbound call center? May I ask what country is that? Also, keep it for a few months, then quit and do something cool with your earnings. What do you say?

Thank you for the words I was looking for. I meant more like money is a good thing, but it's like 400-1200 euros with part-time job. The country is Estonia. I just don't know, it feels wrong, but I don't know what to do.

400 to 1200 is a wide range, but I'll take your word. As an introvert, having such a job could even be beneficial. Not that you should turn into a snake oil salesman, but you know... break some ice. Being able to deal with people is always a plus - then you can decide not to. ;) Good night.

It depends on luck pretty much, some people hang up instantly, some people have a huge household and want to change their operator.
Good night

You get good money and people don't hang up the instant they hear you want them to switch their mobile operator? Weird!

Only one hung up, the others just found a good excuse to end the call and will probably ignore all calls for a while :D

Still better than no job.
I have 3 days of university and 4 days of freedom every week and I can't find a single job to work for that 4 days. I need money and nobody gives me a job even as a waiter -_-

That's kinda same here.
I have free time, i want to work, not only for money but feel myself more... alive. The only different thing is, i don't like this country and its' people, especially in university town. So, i hesitate to enter a job. The people are rude there, i don't even want to go outside. How can i get a job in this condition...

I have 3 days of school and 4 days of freedom and there's so many waiter jobs here, besides other, more humane, jobs.

Make the best out of it :)
I don't really like such calls and I remember my old ISP calling me and advertising a faster and more expensive product.
The young guy I was talking with was great. He asked why I don't need a faster connection and so on.
Told him I'm not downloading too much stuff, we then talked about online games.
It was friday and he told me that his jobs sucks, it's hot as fuck and he is looking forward to the weekend but is having trouble with his girlfriend.. talked to him for like 15 minutes, was totally worth my time :D

If the hourly is good and benefits are good, then keep it for a bit. If it's mostly commissions and you aren't comfortable with it.. then no. Commission places will try to convince workers it will be good money even when it probably won't be.
As soon as you feel comfortable, cut your hours as much as possible. (say you need to go to school (say online school if they ask where, or you need to help out your family or something). Do 4 days a week and use the days off to find something better.

It's commission not hourly. I do go to school at the same time. I probably can't cut days

I was working in the same job as you for 1 month. My problem, didn't was i was introverted, my problem is i feel bad with myself for selling a service and not to tell all the truth (not lying, people in this work, almost in my country, don't tell all the truth), because if you tell all, people didn't buy it (the company i was is the most expensive, and in my country the crisis is hitting strong).
telecommunications companies in my country sucks. The services is worse and much more expensive than the other UE countries.
You said you don't need the money, so i advice you to give it up if you don't feel comfortable and you don't like the job and invest your time in training something you like to improve your chances in getting a job there.

I'm from Spain, but seems that they have the same actitude in all countries.
These companies don't understand that they don't need tricks for make us buy his services. If they provide a good service at a fair price (with something that difference his service from the other companies) and with a good marketing politics we will buy it.

I KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW...
I can get something better in terms of liking it, but probably not anything with a better pay. It doesn't make me mad as in angry, but it does make me mad as in (more) insane.

Hey guys!
Today was my first day at a new job, SPOILER ALERT it fucking sucked... I call people and tell them to switch their mobile operator, because the ours is the best, yeah! The problem is, I'm secretly an introvert, but I haven't told them yet. I don't like working there, but money is a good thing, but I don't need it, but money is a good thing, but why not better job? you might ask, well my dear munchkins SPOILER ALERT I don't fucking know why. So I'm here asking for your opinion, because I'm tired.
Nobody saw the secret message last time, eh?
I guess that's all I have to say, for now.
