I'm not sure about that, I made a backup of my save files before using the mod. It doesn't replace any existing files you just add data to your PAK folder.
That doesn't mean it won't potentially corrupt your cloud save and do various other potentially "harmful" things, mods are use at your own risk after all.

I have tried it after saw this topic. It's really good improvement for the game, but an orange item has dropped in the beginning of the game and Necro's some skills are powerful. This mod eases the gameplay as far as i am concerned. I don't like easy games :) Thanks for the info though :)

This is a PSA to all the Torchlight II players out there - if you haven't tried this mod already give it a go and taste what we're in store for when the official GUTS mod tools are released:
Official Site
"SynergiesMOD is a complete conversion for Torchlight 2! Adding 108 Elite monsters, 6 Rare dragons, 28 Raid dungeons, 11 unique World Bosses, 4 Sets of Legendary Armor, 16 new Tier-1 Legendary Weapons, brand new Quest lines, a new World hub for ACT5, and a whole new class: The Necromancer. Future plans include 24 planned Classes, 3 more Raid Dungeon chains, 2 Quest hubs, 2 more ACTS of overworld play, 3 more Legendary Armor sets, a second tier of legendary weapons, as well as fleshing out the tier1 weapons with more options!"
Breathing new life into the game for me thought some of ya'll might want to check it out.
