Recommend me your favourite games to play (PSP)

Three words... God eater Burst that game is amazing great story and epic gameplay. Search for an gameplay on youtube ;)

Without realising I found myself playing games like Loco Roco and Patapon and of course the 2d final fantasy remakes.

I have a PSP since 4 years ago, and i have to tell you to check out these games:

• Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Persona 3 Portable. (If you never played a Persona game before, then first play P3P.)

• Riviera: The Promised Land. (A great game from ATLUS (RPG), a revamped version from the GBA classic, but with better sprites and most dialogue is voiced.)

• Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice. (Great, unique game. A cop chasing robbers in cars, jumping and shooting at them. Pretty badass.)

• Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Peace Walker. (Looks and plays great, and the story is catching. Peace Walker is considered by many the best PSP game that you can find.)

• Tetris MINI (Really, it's THAT awesome).

• Wipeout Pulse (Custom Soundtrack, 60fps, great looking graphics. It's an arcade futuristic racing game, and it has an extensive campaign. I totally recommend it, i never got tired of it).

• Rock Band Unplugged (Still playing it until this day. A must-own).

Maybe you can play some PSOne classics. Metal Gear Solid, Front Mission 3, Megaman Legends 2, Resident Evil 3, Oddworld games, Final Fantasy games (like VII, VIII or IX), Vagrant Story, Breath of Fire IV, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross.
Chrono Trigger is an excellent SNES classic, i still have to get it on my hands, though.

And if you prefer emulators, you can get SNES and GBA emulators. For SNES i recommend you Earthbound.
For GBA there's a more extensive list: Pokemon games, Metal Slug Advance, Zelda games, Metroid games (Fusion is DA BOMB!), Gunstar Super Heroes (excellent SEGA classic sequel, like Metal Slug), Final Fantasy games (Dawn of Souls, IV, V and VI), Doom, Kirby games (pretty awesome!), F-Zero games (Maximum Velocity and GP Legends), Mother 3 (it's Earthbound 3, only in Japan, but there's a fanmade english traduction) and Megaman Battle Network games (From 1 to 6, loved nº2).

PS: You said "every 'fight' is just me choosing steps (think chess) and fight". There are two gameplay styles: you control the character or you command the character. You are playing with the 2nd style, and you must change it. I'm sure that you are playing Dissidia 012 and not the first one, because that 2nd style was a new added feature.
And yes, playing that way is just plain boring.

• Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep -- Prequel to KH1
• Final Fantasy IV: Complete Collection -- Collection of three games: Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy IV: Interlude, and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. New copies come with collector art cards and Dissidia 012 DLC key.
• Persona 3 Portable -- Enhanced port of Persona 3. Includes gender choice, which affects the story slightly.
• Pix 'n Love Rush -- PSN Mini -- Platformer arcade game based on combos and fast gameplay. Spinoff/sequel to ARKEDO Series 01: Pixel for XBLA.
• Me and My Katamari -- More ball-rolling action. You know the drill.
• Tales of Eternia -- Europe-only. Port of Tales of Eternia (PS1), which was also Europe-only.
• ClaDun: This is an RPG -- Retro dungeon crawler.
• Half-Minute Hero -- You start every stage at level 1. You only have half a minute to beat the boss. You have to grind levels AND do stuff for other people. You pay a goddess to turn time back if you really need it.
• Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake -- You've stolen a neighboring kingdom's princess and they've stolen yours. Play one of a handful of classes to get your princess back, while feeding the other kingdom's princess lots of cake to make her too heavy to carry back.
• Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions -- Remake of Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1).
• Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA -- Japan-only. A music/rhythm game involving Hatsune Miku songs.
• Riviera: The Promised Land -- Enhanced port of Riviera: The Promised Land (GBA).

Downloading Oh My God Zombies (OMG-Z)for the lulz.

I don't understand what the fuck is going on. 1 bullet then for some reason blows up a chain of zombies. I can't beat the first level.

Update: nevermind; fun game. Plays like a free flash game though.
