Beard?
Last night I went to a bachelor party in a pub for the first time since I've started growing a beard. A cute chick wrote on everyone's arms "Happy bachelor party!". On mine she wrote her number too, so the beard must be magical in some way.

My fiancee prefers when I have a 3-7 day old one and then I trim it, before it gets too long. Ask your girl (if you have one) or a girl friend, how you look better, they'll usually choose well :P

Me personally? No.
Other people? Depends highly on their general facial appearance. Some people just have beard-ish faces. :P

Clean shaven looks pretty meh on most people, however it all boils down to how your beard grows. Some men get really splotchy messes and are better of dealing with the clean shaven look since it's better than the weird teen peachfuzz thing they grow. If you can do a nice short beard though it usually looks great. Long beards are hit or miss and I think depend a lot on how much care you plan to go with for trimming and such.

No beard for me. If I grow it out, it looks like it belongs on Billy Gibbons's face. Which is a problem, because on my face that looks ridiculous.

Full beards suddenly came into style with all the hipsters thinking they are cool but most of them just end up looking weird. I recommend a neatly trimmed beard - you can still have the beard and not look like a dirty lumberjack.

That's really tough. It depends on your face and how well you maintain. Some faces look better with more facial hair, and vice versa. Beard type is another issue.
Maybe let it grow out and look for a professional hairdresser that specializes in beards.

No giveaways here, rest assured (I'm still broke so if you're level 6+ or in my whitelist visit my profile for current GAs, I might add one here later depending on my budget tho). Anyway I just shaved after growing a beard for about a month (might not be that long but still), and in hindsight was wondering what people generally prefer (plus I'm bored and needed a forum topic). I don't mind either, just too lazy to shave sometimes :D
