Person who made Giveaway, didn't send me correct Key

He tried to give away the Humble freebie key, used a different game for it. He was not the only one to do that, but in these cases creators can often depend on winners not actually caring about what they activate and marking it received nonetheless.

Maybe i'm an asshole but I would never allow him to delete the giveaway. He tried to give away a free key even when a lot of people told him and asked him if that was grid autosport or grid.

If you want you can let him request a GA deletion , thats up to you .

If not just mark as not received .

Mark not received after 7 days or you could have problems with other users reporting you for a non activated gift and you could also have trouble passing SGTools giveaways that have the your account must have activated all the won gifts rule.

Know that you can agree with a giveaway deletion but you don't have to mandatory agree with this aka it's totally your choice and your choice alone to agree or not.

It's a clear fact that one can't make a giveaway for a free game like Grid and by making a giveaway of Grid Autosport to gift that copy of Grid is knowingly trying to cheat the system and those that enter that giveaway.

First of all I don't know about GA deletion rules i.e. that I have to post in that giveaway. He asked to me to made this thread so he may seek permission from Admin to delete that giveaway. So I did make this thread on his wish.

Further, on 6th or 7th day, he included the key in giveaway, which was of Grid then I added him on steam and asked him that the key you sent is of Grid not Grid Autosport. he said that he actually did mistake and use wrong link for giveaway. I said OK (what else I can do).

later he again said sorry and asked for a thread under description which I did not understand. then today he again ask me and I told him where should I write i.e. under discussion, he said yes. So I made this thread.

later Mully told me that I have to write under the giveaway about deletion, if I have no problem. So I did the same and told him.

These things happens often and nothing to worry about it. at least we can give one chance to everybody.

So personally I don't want any further discussion on this matter as I don't like it because as per his wish, I made this thread only for Admin & Mods of SG. so he may able to seek their permission to delete that GA.

Hope all will understand and agree whatever I said.

mistakenly made wrong giveaway

No he didnt, he very much knew what he was doing.
He intended to pass it off to a newbie and collect the CV.
Sure you could be the bigger man and ask for GA deletion, but i think he should learn the consequences

Hmmmmmmmmmm may be you are right but its in my nature that I always give one chance. So I give him chance.

But one thing I notices that still no Moderator nor Admin write anything here.

Anyway, if he will not respond till tomorrow then I will close this topic, no matter if his problem resolve or not as I told him over steam chat that he should respond but he didn't though I give him link of this thread also, so he do not even bother to find this thread.
