I've spent waaaaaaay too much money on this sale (my first major one from Steam), and I'm too depressed to list them all down. lol

lol I think a decent estimate would be at least $100, not including the ones I bought from GMG and GOG just before the sale. Also, I made my biggest ever purchase in Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag + Season Pass lol

Absolutly nothing. At least not my money. Cloudbuilt, Defy Gravity and One Way Heroics ALL from card sales. And a friend of mine gifted me Borderlands 2 GoTY. I wanted a few more but I had zero cash to spend.
And the sad thing is, I entered over 100 GA's here during and not one win.

Main account, a second one, my girlfriend account and my brother account = 5 TF2 keys selling the summer cards and 1 copy of Defy Gravity for each one. All the other keys? --> playing Spiral Knights, getting energy and trading it for more TF2 keys.

I ended up spending right about what I'd intended. Out of pocket, it was about $1 on Steam and $3 on Gamersgate. I used about $25 in Steam credit ($20 was saved up prior to the sale), as well as some GMG credit and Amazon credit. If the Ys games had gone of sale, I definitely would've blown my budget, but they didn't so I didn't.

This was the best Summer Sale ever. When the big TF2 update dropped, I got on to fuck around for a little bit. I ended up with one of the new taunt crates, and since I had 3 or 4 keys left over from my big trading days (I mostly stopped trading ingame and spent the majority of my keys on games last year), I decided to open the new crate. I got an unusual Meet the Medic taunt (Holy Grail effect, kind of like Sunbeams).
Someone immediately traded me, asked if I would sell it. I said, "Probably not." He said, "Not even for 50 keys?" He was apparently serious, and I ended up with 50 keys right before the sale started. I also had a few bucks in my wallet from marketing some things. Also a few free games entered my library. EDIT: ALL games are on Steam.
Anyway, the list of my new games:
Also spent 10 keys on a Path of Exile microtransaction (Crystalllised Skull, looks totally badass ingame)
Games I expected to get but did not end up getting: ACIV Complete / Rust

I probably could, honestly, if I got back into TF2 trading again. However, I'm currently playing Path of Exile and don't really know how long until I take a break. That also begs the question of when I will ever actually get around to playing those new games but oh well. :P

What damage was done to my wallet/bank account? ... Well.. Some was from GMG, some was from GOG, most was from steam. They are all listed together except for DLCs will be separated so its easier to tell full games from dlc. In no particular order. Trying to remember what ones I got from bundles and what ones I did not.
So I might have left out some games I got outside of bundles and I might have accidentally put in some from bundles.. regardless picked up a LOT of games via bundles from HIB, Groupees and Indigala. Not sure if I really should list those as it would also be a pain to look em all up right now lol. Not going to include free games I got from GOG and so forth. Majority of the games & DLC bought through steam where from card money... and most of the stuff I am listing is also bought through steam so.. :D
Games.

I got Skyrim (only the base) and AoE2's expansion. I got them thanks to the cards I got from some games I had and the Adventure cards. Well, in the end I had enough money to buy a set of those cards and got the 1st level of the badget. I think I'm pretty done! After all, I need money to get ACUnity's biggest edition, and that won't be that easy...

Not much for me. I hate to have a big backlog of games.
Spent: 5 keys and $2 wallet funds, made $3 just selling summer cards
Still have $14 left in GMG credit. I feel awesome.

This was my first Summer Sale. I've been on Steam for 10 years (had an account before this one but forgot the password years ago, so while that one collects dust I got this one 4-5 years ago) and decided just this time to get into it. My wallet suffered...

Small amount of cheap/good games.

-Bureau: Xcom Declassified + Hangar dlc
-Lego Marvel Super Heroes
Was Hoping Blacklist was going to be an encore day game, since I missed it the first time around, but those hopes were dashed. Oh well, always the Fall or winter sale. Oh, how can I forget, I also won Payday 2 here. So that was pretty awesome.

Didn't buy too much...
Bought 3 keys for RE: Revelations
Rogue Legacy
Far Cry 3 Deluxe
Defy Gravity
Battleblock Theater + Castle Crashers (didn't buy Can't Stop Laughing Bundle, could've saved money)
And I have a key in my inventory.
And I won Pretentious Game here, so that kinda counts.

As unbelievable as it may sound... I spent nothing.
Well, theoretically, anyways. The only money I spent was money from my Steam wallet, which I earned by selling cards, and using GMG credit, which I earned through Playfire.
On Steam, I bought Super House of Dead Ninjas for $1.50-ish, which I gave away (you know how...). I also bought Defy Gravity Extended for $0.30, which I added to my inventory for later. On GMG, I used $5.00 to purchase L.A. Noire: Complete Edition using my Playfire credit.
TL;DR: I did spend a few dollars, but I only spent money I earned by selling cards or with Playfire rewards. I also only activated one game to my account.

that's quite the damage.
bought dishonored goty, farcry and blooddragon, hmm lets see... tomb raider and vampire the masquerade. skipped state of decay, although it sounds like a yummy game... oh well, huge backlog anyway
also bought LEGENDARY for the lulz ( 74 cents xD )

So, with the last of the summer sales ending in a couple of hours, how did each of you end up? Did you buy more than you expected? Less? Right on par? And there are always those who make it out alive with no purchases.
I have to admit I went a bit overboard. Here are my takeaways.
GMG:
GOG:
Steam:
I have to weep a bit as I rehash this. My poor wallet... Leaving the rest of my desired games for a later sale. Much later...
So share your outcome!
