On my current PC, I have 6GB of ram, and am considering getting 8GB of more ram, so a total of 14GB. Would it do any good? I have an Intel i5 Processor 2.7 GHz and a crappy AMD Radeon HD 7520G. Would it help for playing some more modern games? (I'm horrible with computers)

Nope, most games rarely go over 2-4gb

Its your GPU that needs replacing or the laptop if it is one.

Your cpu therefor your motherboard or at least your gpu needs an upgrde! forget the ram, 6gb is good, you won't feel any difference in games! 14gb is overkill for gaming.

upgrade your gpu first, RAM upgrades will not give your PC an fps boost provided you have at least 2 GB RAM

Like a lot of people have said - no, you don't need more RAM. What you need is a new GPU.
