don't know if i should buy skyrim legendary

yeah, for what it is, it gets old very quickly as majority of the game is exploring (and by exploring i mean scenic walk) and copy, paste, slightly alter, rinse and repeat... but it is still a decent game (but wait for a better sale as i have a feeling it will be a community choice or flash sale later)

it does get boring if you rely on game to entertain you (weird huh?), but it can be very fun sandbox if you manage to find your own way to keep yourself amused with it

lets put it this way:

oblivion = 250 hours played roughly,

fallout 3 = 100 hours played roughly,

terraria = 100 hours played roughly,

dark souls = 280+ hours played (and i am still playing it now).

if a game is worth its price you can play upwards of 5 times as many hours as the price you pay in dollars, yet for skyrim, i was coming close to burning the disc as it wouldve been more entertaining at the 20 hour mark...

edit: i shall go into further depth... skyrim essentially just reskins what we already loved and played for hours upon hours and the only essential new part is a seconday magic or "shouts"... now that is exactly what some people hope for but i expect more in a $50 title... i want to be genuinely moved by the game and the most moving part for me was how epic i felt listening to the soundtrack whilst drinking an energy drink... not very enticing... a game is meant to be interesting and meant to provide a medium for the consumer to be creative in, however it did neither of those things to a quality worth its price

If its not on daily deal (or Flash Sale) wait for it. Or buy it at the end of the summer sale if it never drops below current price.

40% flash 8 hours sale for Skyrim legendary Edition ended yesterday, don't think it will back, maybe there will be a good flash Skyrim sale, but not for Skyrim LE again. I got it for 23.99€, was like 5€ cheaper if buying on Europe than in US where cost 35,99$ = 27,6€ , and was 17,99£ on UK wich is even more cheaper like 20,87€ = 27,23$

if you like RPGs then yes buy it. Its one of the best. If you like atom-punk theme better then fantasy get fallout 3.

It depends how bad you want it. Since you wont have much budget left, Id say wait unless you are just dying to get it. It will undoubtedly go onsale cheaper in the next few months. Worst case scenario, I'd definitely bet on it being at least 50% by Winter Sale.

I wonder if the DLCs will get any lower than a -50% discount, since I already own the main game... not really looking forward to give that much money for three DLCs.
