Is Torchlight II any good?

After playing the demo, and reading everyone's comments, I decided to purchase the bundle. Thanks everyone, and add me on steam if you ever feel like playing co-op on torchlight

If you've played Fate (same director) you know what to expect. Idk how this game got so much attention, while Fate was way more cult like. Probably the multiplayer I guess.

TL2 is my favorite Dungeon Crawler ever. PoE is also amazing considering it's free, but I had a ton of fun with TL2.

If you like the genre TL2 is a no-brainer - i'm not going to go off on if this or that is better but it's a solid game and well worth the time / money.

It's really entertaining and for me it's better than the first one just because levels have more variety and it has more stuff to do.

Torchlight II is a great game, especially if you're playing with some friends.

Here is what you do:

1) Try the Torchlight II demo.
2) Squee.
3) Purchase the game for a pittance while it's on sale.
4) Enjoy the heck out of it in both single-player and co-op.
5) Get Path of Exile for free and play that at your leisure.

let us put it this way if you bought Diablo 3 and torchlight 2. . . you didn't want to slit your wrists anymore.

It's worth full price and even more. Unsurprisingly nobody gave a shit at the day one, happens when people keep wasting money on garbage rather than real games.

Play with friends in co-op mode. But make sure your friends start playing at around the same time as you (i.e. you level up at around the same rate). If not, you or your friend(s) could be like 2 times of your level and kill off all the monsters for you while you earn much less XP and gold.

Oh I loved it. play it through, play some more, grab some mods, play some more, and then play some more to play around. that had been my experience with Torchlight 1 over some 130 hours I think.

I'm enjoying T2 just as much, except I don't have the same amount of free time as I did before.

Tried the beta, I was disappointed by it overall. I would suggest Titan Quest as a good alternative.

20$, offline and online mode, no pay 2 win features and mod support versus 60$, online only, auction house and no mods.

Even with hype, the name and all, is not difficult to see what game offer the best features. But hey, it's called Diablo 3 so it's the BEST GAEM EVAH.

I think of it as a better Diablo in gameplay, but if you're into storylines, then no.

It's an amazing game, love the gameplay, love the looks of it and it hs LOTS of mods. buy it
