After playing the demo, and reading everyone's comments, I decided to purchase the bundle. Thanks everyone, and add me on steam if you ever feel like playing co-op on torchlight
Have a nice day :)

If you've played Fate (same director) you know what to expect. Idk how this game got so much attention, while Fate was way more cult like. Probably the multiplayer I guess.

Here is what you do:
1) Try the Torchlight II demo.
2) Squee.
3) Purchase the game for a pittance while it's on sale.
4) Enjoy the heck out of it in both single-player and co-op.
5) Get Path of Exile for free and play that at your leisure.

That's better :D
Anyhow, TL2 is around 5 euros in tf2 keys on outpost if you get them from the market so that would be an idea. Also Thanksgiving sales are rather close and I'm willing to bet it's going to be on sale then if trading is too much of a hassle :D

It's worth full price and even more. Unsurprisingly nobody gave a shit at the day one, happens when people keep wasting money on garbage rather than real games.

Let's be honest here for a bit. It released the same year Diablo 3 4 months apart as I recall and Torchlight 1 to be compared to Diablo 2 is a bit hard to do. Hype and all that. Nevertheless I did get TL2 at full price like 2 weeks after it launched and got to see reviews of both games so +1 for worth full price. Especially since they didn't go full retard and add DLCs and it's a rather cheap game compared to today's gaming industry.

20$, offline and online mode, no pay 2 win features and mod support versus 60$, online only, auction house and no mods.
Even with hype, the name and all, is not difficult to see what game offer the best features. But hey, it's called Diablo 3 so it's the BEST GAEM EVAH.

Play with friends in co-op mode. But make sure your friends start playing at around the same time as you (i.e. you level up at around the same rate). If not, you or your friend(s) could be like 2 times of your level and kill off all the monsters for you while you earn much less XP and gold.

Oh I loved it. play it through, play some more, grab some mods, play some more, and then play some more to play around. that had been my experience with Torchlight 1 over some 130 hours I think.
I'm enjoying T2 just as much, except I don't have the same amount of free time as I did before.

I think of it as a better Diablo in gameplay, but if you're into storylines, then no.

The Torchlight II sale is almost over, and I'm considering buying the bundle to share with a couple of my friends. However, I don't know too much about the series and am conflicted over whether or not it is worth buying. So is Torchlight II a game that has the ability to waste a ton of money, or is it just another generic Diablo game that I should skip and wait for something better?
