Didn't you check his profile? Try adding him steam and talk to him.Maybe your e-mail went to spam,or he just mindlessly deleted it.

These things take time. Staff do this job for free (im assuming) and there's a priority system in place.

One of my tickets is still undergoing "maintenance" and it's been about 6 months.

Don't fret; it's not the end of the world, yet :)

There are too much damn users ranting about the support. Give them some slack, will you? It's not like they enjoy replying to the tickets. It's hard work, and the support team are volunteers.
Don't close your ticket as it cannot get any reply that way. Just wait more, and they'll get to it eventually.

Yep. We should sometimes thank support as well, not only whine when we have to wait a little!
Thank you support for being there for us and helping every steamgifts user resolve their problems!

I had the same problem - someone didn't mark my gift as received. I tried contacting them and so on, but nothing worked. Then I opened a ticket for support. After a month I finally had an answer (I did ''bump'' the ticket, because I still don't know how they do work). The answer just said that I haven't provided any evidence. After that support just helped me acquire proof and after another month with all evidence the ticket was closed and my gift was marked as received. So the answers on how to get proof and checking it took support another month.

Thank you support for helping me resolve my problem :)

FWIW, getting giveaways marked as "received" will be a much easier/faster process with SGv2. Right now, only the admin can do it, and his queue takes quite some time to get through, so we tend to gloss over those tickets as we know they won't be resolved anytime soon.

With v2, mods will be able to adjust feedback, so we'll be more willing to take on those tickets as we can actually provide a resolution.

Anyway, if we got bobofatt in this forum post. I have question for you as a reprensentative of support. What cool tickets do you get? I once read this post where someone submitted a ticket to become queen of steamgifts. Anything else to share?

I've also been waiting for 4 weeks to get my ticket answered. I wonder what's the average wait time...

After reading here my 2 days of waiting seems like nothing.

pff..... 4 weeks is nothing in valve time.
Although, if you open a topic (or you comment) blaming the staff, you'll be answered immediately, or banned, depending on the case. So, now u know the fastest way.

anyway, mods, can't you hire someone else to help you?

Pretty sure "hire" implies "pay". If we were getting paid, there probably wouldn't be such a backlog of tickets.

sorry for my poor english, by hire i mean just to ask someone to help you. I already know u're not getting paid, you were the one who told me that.

You know, just try to open a topic where you ask if there's anyone offering to become a mod and help you, in order to split the work.

I always put a complement in my tickets!

Fox example: "Bobofatt your avatar is looking might fine today!"

All my tickets have been resolved.
