Hey there :)
I finished my CELTA in September. CELTA is a teaching certificate which should allow me to travel some before I start studying.

Well, the hiring peaks are August and February I think. So I'm a little late. On online job boards there are only few opportunities for teachers WITHOUT bachelor.

So, my question is: if you know any school, somewhere in the world which is looking for an English (or German) language teacher, please tell me about them. Except Germany because I am German and want to see other parts of the world.
It would be most appreciated :)

The school may be anywhere in the world, I don't really care. Thanks :D

[Edit]: I guess I'll be spending the next two years in Vietnam ^^ Thanks for the support and bumps and such :)

I'm no use here, but 3-4 of my friends went to Korea to teach English and two friends went to China. I live in the US.

Hard for me to give much advice, I'm pretty sure in the US most, if not all, schools will require a bachelor's degree to teach full time. You could substitute teach in some places without a 4 year degree, that varies wildly from district to district, but I imagine you wouldn't be looking to uproot yourself across the Atlantic to just be a sub.

I also did some quick googling around and saw this, though I have no idea if that quite fits with what you were talking about or not. And since you're actually German, it may be something you already knew about. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help. :(

Here in Argentina teachers are neeeded. I gave some thought to become one, but as the wages are low and all the time (yes, ALL THE TIME) there are disputes to raise wages. This is a constant, that a political party wants who ruled the last 30 years (Peronismo), to mantain the argentinians that go to public school stupid and ignorant as possible. I'm not exagerating.
Personally, I would look for a chance in Korea, Japan or China, in that order.

PS: Thanks for GA. If you finally decide your future, i would love to read it. No GA needed for that.

Cheers.

Here's a bump!

Also, not sure but in my area I've seen a recent increase in demand for German teachers, my old middle school just hired one and my High School hired about 2. I live in the United States

Well, since I don't have a BA or MA it would be pretty difficult to come to the US and work there ^^
Still, thanks for the hint. Maybe at some point of my life I'll come to work and teach students over there.
Tine for them to learn how to prepare proper meals with Sauerkraut and Sausage :P

Haha, we have sausage sandwiches at McDonald's for breakfast if that counts! I personally hate Sauerkraut in most things, but it'd taste good if I actually had it from somewhere that wasn't Subway xD.

Hi, neighbour!
I would like to help you, but the labour market in my country (Poland) is soooo messy and overloaded with unfair and unprofitable offers, so I can only advise you to stay away from here.
By the way - thanks for the giveaway.

heard about that from a guy who did his CELTA with me. He's working for ~400€ now and is pretty overqualified for that.

Going off of Palin's comment, that's very true, but being German could prove an issue. I've actually talked to a few people who have done/are doing that kinda thing in China. It's a little strange, but from what I've heard, some wealthy Chinese parents like to have someone live with them in order to teach their children, and I quote, "the right way" to speak/act/etc. From what I've heard, they tend to want Americans or Brits. This may not be all that helpful... have a bump, though.

yep, I experienced that someone who organized an interview for me told me: oh, sadly your not blonde. Blondes always land a job....
I got the job anyways, but due to a complicated visa process in China (and fucked up bureaucracy in Germany I don't get to go there :/

Well, got something now :D
