I've never seen the Sync more than 24 hours old.
Manually, I've seen issues off and on. The SG error message could be more informative.
Adding something like "If your profile is public and has worked with SG before, than please try again later."
Rather than say its not public.
I just try again. Sometimes it goes on the second or third try. If not, I try again later.
I personally think its Steam not responding to SG as it could almost be considered a DOS attack if enough requests hit at the same time.

Can't Sync with Steam - SG claims my account is set to private.....total opposite, everything is Public. Anyone else having sync issues right now???

SG did ok when auto synch one hour ago, and just now with a manual sync
