Am I missing something? Why are there so many Guardian of Middle Earth DLC giveaways?

I can't remember it being on sale recently, and it's certainly not on sale right now. Combine this with nobody actually owning this title and it makes no sense.

Why are a ton of people suddenly giving away DLC for this game out of the blue?

They've been for free on Raptr for months now.
