Hello all :D

Anybody here have a problem with youtube framerates?
Somehow, when i play 1080p 60fps youtube video, after 20 seconds or so, the framerates keeps dropping to 30 fps.
I don't know but IE have no problem at all playing 1080p 60fps youtube video.
I've read some articles but i can't find any working solution for me.

Any of you guys have a solution? :D

Youtube has gone to hell ever since google+ integration (to be fair it had been going downhill for ages). It most likely isn't you but youtube itself.

I have to download every video to see most of the big ones play to completion. Youtube is a shit service with shit practices.

And still everyone uses it. Like many other shitty things.

Download the "YouTube Center" extension then uncheck Dash Playback in player settings. YouTube will then force the entire video to load, not just small segments.

I'll stick with Youtube HD. I don't like the centering and still being in the browser.

I've already installed youtube center, but can i play 1080p video? I've read in the description that because of some youtube changes, if i disabled Dash Playback, it cannot play 480p/1080p videos

Can't really help there. I watch everything in 720.

Plus, I don't use the addon, I copied the text from a post on Imgur. :P

I saw something somewhere that Youtube was going away from Flash and moving to a straight HTML 5 player... wonder if that's related..?

How are you able to use HTML5 on YT at 1080p if it is limited to 720p there?

edit: found the answer myself, the 720p limitation dont apply to IE and Chrome

Learn to read before you write nonsense next time and get some balls to not delete all your comments in the future if you were proven to be unable to read ;-)

If that guy really did blacklist you, then he's an idiot. I really hate this whole blacklist thing.

He/she did say, that your problem must be the wrong flash version to 99% and that you should downgrade your flash to an older one (yeah right, the one with security problems of course ^_^), even if your last comment here was telling us, that you only use HTML5 :)

Btw, what web browser are you using? Chrome and/or IE?

That might be a silly question, but... Are you sure the videos you're trying to watch are actually shot in 60 all the way through?

I'm not that sure, but the videos are stuck in 30fps all the time after 20+ seconds
