Which game logic is most annoying for you?
I hate broken escort quests/missions. The ones that aren't broken can be reasonably entertaining though.
What's also a pet peave of mine is when characters in cutscenes suddenly seem to lose abilities that they have in-game. Like when you walk into an obvious trap fully prepared to deal with it, and the cutscene promptly forgets all of that and gets you captured/exploded/whatever anyway.

I'm not sure how "Controls, camera or view problems" and "Visual bugs or problems (Anything that breaks your immersion visually - texture gaps, physics glitches, animation problems, framerate drops or lags)" are considered "logic" in any way. I'd say these are more poor game design than video games logic.

I would consider it game "logic" since you can only encounter it in games, not in real life. And they are recursive programming problem in many games. But I know what you mean with word "logic" so most of them would fall more under glitches and bugs. They are still made out of functions and procedures and those still work on basic logic principles.

I somewhat feel that stuff in games which are accidental aren't exactly logic, but yeah, I get what you're saying.

Duuuude! all honorable mentions, if I could pick/vote 2-3 then I would. But what took the cake is my recently finished The Witcher 3...controls, both Geralt AND Roach (horse), man that was annoying!
Other honorable mentions are camera, think in Resident Evil (old ones) where you had fixed camera angle and if it didn't allow you to see, it was pretty much designed to be that way (jump scares maybe) or just a tiny slipup. But now, games that the camera just go NUTS and turns around you/your enemies without you wanting to, gash that's so irritating! how many keyboards, pads and maybe even tv's or monitors were damaged/broken because of that? XD
Good topic!

Awesome, keep your save, you can import it (or simulate your choices) and it will change quite a few things in TW3.
Most people finish one path and then reload and do the other one, just to get the best of both worlds -or stories in this case- :)

I always saying in any game something like: "Yea, sure, you guys just stand there and I'll deal with thousand enemies", but at same time, escorting bunch of idiots which you must defend is my worst nightmare. I was just replaying Fallout: New Vegas, actually, and remember that quest :). Anyway, I love playing stealth in Fallout, but stupid companions open fire everytime, when your status gets "Caution", it's so annoying! Also, you can kill anyone with melee weapon, their body and blood can fly right in their allies faces and they will not give a shit, just because you was "hidden", they will not even get alerted! NO FUCKS GIVEN! No reputation/karma penalties either, you wasn't seen! All melee weapons in the game counts as "silent", even if it actually makes a loud sound and your victim screams in pain. It's just so stupid and funny at same time... You can kill lots of no-name neutral (or enemies, if you disguised) NPCs and get lot of weapons\ammo early in game. Oh, and you can also throw spear right in the head of enemy, while he talking with other guy. His friend, who saw this, will not give a shit about it, like nothing happened...
At same time, this is not working with certain enemies. If you kill one while "hidden", other enemies, in small radius, will be alerted forever (your status will be "caution", change to "hidden" for a moment and immediately change back to "caution" again). I killed Deathclaw with melee while hidden in their cave, other two, that was nearby was alerted forever, they couldn't see me, my stealth at 100, and it's dark in there. If you don't move (or move slowly), they will never notice you, even if you really close to them...
p.s. can't wait for Fallout 4, lol

When I was playing first time, I was sniping as well. But it will alert other enemies, so you need to wait after every shot (if you want to get crit from sneak attack). There's silenced pistol, though, but it literally does no damage...
On my 2nd playthrough (which I just did on Xbox), I was mainly kill with melee weapons (lead pipe at start, then I got Thermic Lance from Legion and then I switched to power fist and finally got "pushy"). You can kill deathclaw with full health with just one punch. I found this method so much funnier
There's 2 achievements, which require you to heal yourself with food and stimpaks for 10k HP each... Well, using this method, I restored only 4k health combined. I just wasn't got hit too much for entire game! Got these achievements by hurting myself with explosive weapons in my own house...

I was using silenced sniper rifle, but even with very long distance you don't need to have it silenced (if you have long draw distance set). I think there is fire or some sort of smelted metal that damages you in intervals when you step on it, I used that for the food achievement.

I should vote bad escort AI, but I haven't seen it as often as I used to -- designers learned. And hell, sometimes it's even good these days. So instead, my vote goes to invisible walls. It's just bad design. There's no excuse for it. None.
IRL logic is weird sometimes too -- unvaultable chest-high walls and impassable gently-graded slopes among the worst (hmm... "invisible walls"? is that you again?...)
I don't mind the computer cheating so long as it's by design.
And graphical errors/flaws are something I probably actually enjoy.
Very nice list!

God damn you invisible walls! You let me jump over that thing, but why not this thing? This thing is even shorter than that thing!

I just wanna vote escort missions in general. Just the whole concept of them isn't fun at all. I mean why the hell would I want to be protecting a random character that I don't care about with my own life. I already have my own life to be worrying about.
This as a concept needs to be dropped from games all together.
Games like wolfenstein the new order has it right. Anytime your going somewhere with a character before entering any fight scenes you all split up. So theres no protecting anyone. This is what games need to do!
But I voted controls camera and view problems. Because that makes or breaks a game. If you can't even look around properly then how are you meant to play the game?

Speaking of game logic, I always felt dissapointment seeing how playing as a slightly insane dictator In Tropico series is not how the game was meant to be played at all.
I just wanted to build giant oppulent palaces for my cats and have people shot for being unemployed.

Discussion about glitches or insane game logic
Tell, which things you don't like on games and are annoying for you or which ones do you find really hilarious.
Any funny pictures about game logic are welcomed.
