Nice thread, I'll add 5 cents:
100% (for me) "make me warm inside and go "aww, that's nice"":
Butterfly Soup, free vn
Emily is Away, Emily is Away Too (but you already played them)
+ good sweet games:
Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians
Detective Grimoire
Costume Quest
Home Sheep Home
Linelight
But mostly I wrote this comment because of Butterfly Soup

So many great games already mentioned. I don't have much to add, but I did like Home is Where One Starts. It was just updated to a remastered version. It is a short walk through childhood memories.
Also Shelter 2 because you get to be a mommy Lynx caring for her cubs. If you would rather be a mommy Badger get Shelter.

I wanna be a mommy pteranodon. Please advise. ^.^
Side-note, worth noting to those considering Shelter 2 that the DLC for it seems to add a lot, in terms of adjusted gameplay:
A vast mountain area to explore. High peaks and dense lowlands makes the journey go vertically.
Foxes, bears, and birds of prey now populate all parts of the world. Certain animals acts as both prey and predator.
New weather effects and 4 new lighting schemes. A rich winter evening, a misty autumn, and cold spring and a vivid summer palette.

A Short Hike is probably the most fitting game for this. The protagonist is a small penguin who's going through some anxiety about an uncontrollable situation, so he goes to visit his aunt who is a park ranger. That's the context, the game involves just exploring and climbing the mountain, talking to people. It's really great and I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to smile or destress.

I really like visual novels, I think they're a fun way to get interaction with a good story. Here's a few games that come to mind.
Arcade Spirits https://store.steampowered.com/app/910630/Arcade_Spirits/ - Visual novel- A group of arcade gamers comes together to stick it to the man and start their own arcade/barcade center, great characters, and interesting concept.
Gris https://store.steampowered.com/app/683320/GRIS/- puzzle game with beautiful artwork that is based on the 5 stages of grief
My time at Portia https://store.steampowered.com/app/666140/My_Time_At_Portia/-One of my current obsessions, a crafting/farming/mining/life sim with bright art, interesting lore, and vivid characters
Hatoful Boyfriend https://store.steampowered.com/app/310080/Hatoful_Boyfriend/- a really funny and silly VN that feels like a parody with a storyline that is a whole lot deeper and darker than you first think
Hustle Cat https://store.steampowered.com/app/453340/Hustle_Cat/ - Visual novel -A magic curse turns you into a cat, work in a cat cafe while you try to break the curse among a great cast of characters (that are also cursed to be cats :3)

There are many games that fit what you are asking for. Some people have already given you very good answers. In this case I am going to say just one, SteamWorld Quest. I am not much into card deck games but I wanted togive an opportunity to this one as I have played SteamWorld Dig 1, Heist and Dig 2. It is turn based and you can even play using only one hand, it's perfect if you want to drink tea!
Remember that if you have doubts, you can take profit of Google Stadia, it has given its Pro version for free 2 months, remember to unsuscribe if you don't want to pay for the third month and redeem all "free" games in the Pro version. Enjoy!

Hello there, fellow humans.
I'm looking for some not demanding games that I can enjoy with a cup of tea. Something, that will make me warm inside and go "aww, that's nice". I'm mostly into adventure, narrative/character driven, some platform games, also RPG maker or visual novels. But I'm really open to anything.
I've played most of the most popular ones so maybe someone here could recommend me something new. And yes, I'm a sucker for these types of games.
Also, I'm so sorry for no gib, it'll be here soon I promise uwu
