I am open to any suggestions. Like I said, our main goal is to build working site with big community. Maybe we will cancel that fee for trades and start some advertisment to generate at least some income which will be used to build up site, doing more PR actions and selling more premium games.

You purchased PayDay : The Heist from me :D

I made a loss on it since I purchased it for like 1.2$. But it's a small loss to help out a new developer. I guess Dishonored makes up for it though :D

ok question
"- You must have $5 or more dollars in your GFD wallet
– You must offer 3 or more games (and maximum 1 indie game)
– You didn’t buy any premium offer in last 7 days"
does it mean u have to sell 3 games in order to buy this game and after i sold 3 games will i have to resell 3 more if i want to buy 2 copys ?

no, you have to offer 3 games + 5 or more dollars... its simple marketing, I just want to make the offer list rich and I want to have some currency in system - with 100 registered users and all of them with zero ballance, there couldn't be any system. But I plan to add more interesting offer in future, also some givaways of really good games.

Its working like this = some user will find your offer interesting -> user will pay for it and 1 dollar will be deducted from his account immediately -> you will send user your key/gift/boxed version of the game/whatever form of the game and you will mark the deal as delivered -> user will redeem his gift/key/whatever and if its working user will mark the deal as completed -> after this 0,9 dollars is added to your wallet and 0,1 is going to site (however we are considering to cancel this fee).

Alright, cool. I don't think canceling the fee is going to be a good idea. You need some kind of profit to keep the site running, eh?

And oh, what if the buyer didn't mark it as complete? It should be automatically done after a period of time, since some buyers just buy and leave.

maybe we will try to make just adspace somewhere there and if it will make some profit, cancelling fee is the option

also watch out for guy with nickname "nahman_khayet"... it looks like first scammer. he had interesting offers, but it seems that he is not delivering the games. Just wait with sending keys/gifts to him. I will investigate and ban him in case he is really scammer.

I can confirm this, i delivered the game and he said i did not deliver. He even added me on Steam to try and scam my tf2 items for his steam gift of 'Payday 2'. Watch out for this guy nahman khayet : http://steamcommunity.com/id/SheTok

Hopefully someone else will not fall for the same thing

EDIT: i just realised you're the developer, I was trying to find a way to contact you as I met with someone else that got scammed from their key too

Problem with this scammer is gone and after investigating his deals, I refund all of the sellers... I hope everybody is happy now.

An advice.

Since you are the developer, it's probably not a good idea to mention a "possible" scammer in another forum.

If you have proof, great, ban him and post where ever you want to.

Just wanted to update the thread with more experience from today... :)

I tried to buy two games from other fellow traders... Mafia II was already activated, but the guy who was selling it said that it was his fault, mutual cancelation ensued and everything went back to where it was... Also bought Mark of the Ninja, marked as recieved and rated...

As far as I can see, this is definitely great idea... Hope to see more traders coming soon :)

Except breaking the TOS of the original providers of the keys.
If the system pretends to be a trade system, make giver obtain 1 point. And not put money in the system. Else is reselling, no matter how much times admin tells the contrary.
Indeed, he's not breaking rules, just the system is designed for users breaking tos and he getting incomes on the process.

well, users are not making profit either + give me explanation, why chain of PLAY game stores offers second hand games with margin? i think this is much much more bad in compare to innocent trading of games without any profit

When you use the word either, are you asuming I said someone is not getting profit? Cause I've not said that and I already answered that before.
License system destroyed PC second hand, but when you purchased games on a store on past, you weren't accepting a ToS. Although probably something was written inside the box. Can't do a global answer to that.
When you sell for money, even closed one, that soomeone put on the system, it's selling. If there wasn't profit involved why do you think people offer there tlheir games? Profit/=money on pocket or bank account.

Note that I use to swap bundle keys, but not selling them.

1) we are not steam focused site, i repeat, you can sell boxed version, or whatever form of the game, maybe some users are violating TOS in some cases, but I am wondering how, its exchange system and it seems its working so far and beyond my expectations

2) all those people have a loooooot of games with no use... i think its bad to let all these games lie somewhere when they can be traded for some other game.

3) boxed games have TOS during installation process and they say same things - you shouldn't resell it. If I remember correctly, there were little war between developers and PLAY stores. And its understable, PLAY stores made and still are making (console games) big profits on second hand games. It harm developers. Our exchange system is fair and harm no one. The better game you offer, the bigger chance you have to trade it for 1 dollar and for that 1 dollar you can buy whatever game you wish. Good way to spread indie games and good way to get rid off duplicate games.

I never said you were steam focused. Stop putting words in "my mouth" and totally unrelated.
Stop wondering, just read the info from the "providers".
I'm giving you free bumps, you should be happy.

Why do you have amount of points showing up, if all games cost 1 TP? Also, on some games it's 1.00 and on other's it's 1. screenie.
Also, switch view doesn't work for me, first page is on grid, and second page is on list view.

This site is new on the web, wouldn't suggest spending money on it.

Well the site is legit, well if everyone above is telling the truth, But the problem is all the sales/offers are getting removed or they're sold out. From 8 pages to 2 in 1 week if this keeps going this way this siye site will be dead within a month.

It may not be fake but there are problems with site. It says "IMPORTANT: If you pay via PayPal, make sure to finish process by clicking on RETURN TO GAMES FOR DOLLAR button and you will get redirected back to our site. If you will not do this, Trading Points will not be added to your wallet." (taken directly from payments page) and even though i did what they said it didn't add funds to my account (even though the funds were taken from my paypal). Sadly the site doesn't have any kind of support so be aware of that.
Edit: I contacted him through e-mail, he fixed it afterwards.
