The Stanley Parable - Unachievable Achievement

Did anyone get this achievement lately? I know there was a way to get it, but this was patched and now I'm trying desperately to find a new way.

The way i knew was patched months ago.. I tried it last in December 2013. Since then I found no new way to get it..

What did you "try" that worked? If you don't mind me asking. As far as I was aware, there was no set method to get it... outside of cheating.

If I remember it right, I put something in the config file and I just pressed X in-game then I got the achievement.

this is exactly what i did, that didn´t work.. I will try it again later, maybe you´re right and I did something wrong.

I know this, but I lately didn´t see someone figure it out again :/
"Without cheating".. I don´t think that´s possible :D (editing the config is quite the same for me ^^)

That's odd, because I used that same method and I got the achievement. I didn't even have to do anything, I just started the game.
